Kobe mentioned he was waiting for the calvary to come. (Probably referring to getting Swaggy back healthy). Yet, a review of MWP (or TPF) stats in China and his 'purpose' in being there is as PJ would say is at least 'intriguing.' They have him listed as a Center as of today on his Chinese team.

At least he would be better than Starbury to add to this roster.

Beasley, Delonte West are over there as well.

Wait..i know the Clippers because they don't have enough Lakers re-treads!

MWP, Delonte West and Beasley would make a great cast with Dennis Rodman in the Expendables 4.

Seriously I think MWP does nothing to fix our offense and lacks the foot speed to play defense at his best standard. Wish him all the best though.

I have no confidence in Delonte, though would love him to wear a singlet saying Bron's daddy at a Xmas game and enter Staples by flaming Harley with El Mariachi guitar case filled with guns. He does not supplant Lin and we have Clarkson we may as well develop him.

Beasley I would give a chance to (a gamble). He is no help whatsoever on defense which is why we are losing now. He would be better offense for the 2nd or even first unit. I think Boozer will be in the 2nd unit like suggested, and pouting will reduce his jumper and hustle. Could we take out Wes and add Davis to the 1st unit with Beasley and hope that Davis and that takes the edge off some of the bad d. Beasley is tall, with effort he might get a few rebounds (funnier things have happened.)

Right. I wasn't serious about searching the junk pile in China. Thought it interesting what is over there trying to hang on and compare to the junk pile we have on our roster (Wes Johnson). MWP thinks he is going to play for a contender and come back (ala Rasheed Walace with cbags) just before playoffs (to what-CLE or CHI?)....

Lordy, Wes is so bloody awful that yeah, I might be tempted to take Ron Ron back instead!! I don't think he could possibly be worse.

I wanted to write "no, he can't be worse" even without reading the thread. That's how I feel about it. Now that I know it's about MWP AKA Panda Friend... I don't know. I don't think he'd be any worse honestly. He would not fix anything either.

At least he'd be fun to watch. Ron could brick the side of the backboard and kiss his biceps, and I wouldn't be as mad as watching one Wes Johnson actually do that and still not understand his uselessness and lack of IQ on the floor.

Good point. But only if he keeps his new name.

He can't be much worse than Wes, at least it'll be fun having Artest though.

We already have one, his name is Wes and he's tricked everyone into thinking he is a basketball player.

I would say 90% of my last 100 posts have been about how much I despise Wes.

Panda was too old and slow to cut it on D and could no longer shoot for us two seasons ago. So do I think even older and out of the league for quite a while now that he could be worse than Wes? Yes, yes I do. Wes is young and athletic and even he is getting killed on D, I shudder at how bad Panda would get torn up. He had his nights when he was still with us, the occasional good shooting night, the occasional really impressive defensive showing, but for the most part he was done. I'd rather try out some young players at this point, not look back to the past which will help us progress IMO in zero ways. This Quincy something or other will be ok probably, maybe, whatever.

Playing someone out of position is better than playing Wes at his natural position.

His natural position is seated at the bench, making espn with amazing athletically gifted towel dances.
