Savory G. has me worried about him getting fat once he gets paid. That was not a good look.

Suppose we land Biyombo. Any interest in signing Stoudemire as an offensive-minded backup big?

Sure. However, I'd also look at a player like Jon Leuer from Phoenix.

You guys are kidding around about being outraged about a player baking a cake, right?

He'd be a good option, too.

I like Afflalo. I think his reputation as a quality defender has been overrated the last couple of seasons, but he can still be a valuable veteran piece coming off the bench.

How some on here are reenacting Whiteside's cake baking process in their minds.

That video has no bearing on what I thought of him before or after. That is just a goofy video. It's the fact that he has never been paid and was run out of the league for being a knucklehead once already, and then we give the dude 90 million and expect him to behave? On a team that 20 years ago would have half it's players in college? I don't think Mitch will do it because they really seem to care about character right now. I'm not saying he's a "bad" guy or anything. But our kids our are future. I will take someone less talented that can help them grow and mature before I sign the dude who couldn't even get on an NBA roster a year and a half ago.

It's really not even about him getting fat. It's about him just not caring anymore. Larry Sanders is sort of what I'm worried about.

    Russell/Williams
    DeRozan/Young
    Ingram/Brown
    Randle/Nance
    Biyombo/Stoudemire

I'd ship off Young for a cheap, pass-first PG.

    Lol. He's gone.

JK. I'd like him to back up the 1 and 2, but I still want a passing PG.

As of this second, subject to change at a whim, my ideal off-season barring Durant or LeBron:

    Russell/Calderon
    DeRozan/Clarkson
    Ingram/Brown
    Randle/Nance Jr.
    Noah/Black

Max DeRozan and use him as the primary backup SF. Noah on a big 1+1 deal. Calderon is a dump from New York who expires preserving us enough cash to have a max slot open next summer.

Calderon was on a short list of guys I just looked at who could shoot from the outside and averaged 5.5+ Ast per 36. Nice.

^^ I like everything about that lineup except Noah at Center.. If we can get Whiteside or Harford, you do it..

I'd prefect not to have Ingram starting right away.

I would like a starting level SF. Grab a wing and bring Ingram along off the bench. Just my .002 cents.

Well.. If we can't get Durant to run at starting SF, there are plenty of quality 3s to play in front of Ingram..

Overall.. There are a lot more Quality, Unrestricted FAs this year than last year..
I feel good about our chances.. Especially with Luke in & Kobe's presence no longer being a factor...
