I would be absolutely thrilled to have either one of those guys. In about 18 1/2 hours we will know... Please basketball gods, reward us for our suffering.
So can someone break down what we'll be looking for tomorrow? From what I recall, the draft lottery quickly goes through Picks 4-14 then goes to commercial break before the top 3. But I just ran the Tankathon simulator a few times, and it seems like there are many possible outcomes in Picks 4-14 that may or may not indicate whether we're keeping our pick. For example, if Pick 4 ends up going to Philadelphia that most likely means our pick fell out of the Top 3 and Philly will get two Top 5 picks. BUT, there's a chance that would indicate that Philadelphia's original pick fell out of the top 3, two teams outside of the top 3 jumped up, and we still keep our pick somewhere in the top 3. So it seems that the two scenarios that will let us know for sure before that commeciral break is if Philly pops up at #5, that'd confirm that we lost our pick. And if Philly does NOT pop up by #4, that would confirm that we keep our pick.
philly can't pop up at 5. worst record guarantees 4th at worst. the primary thing to watch for is anyone being skipped. if we're expecting, say, Chicago's name to come up at 12, and it doesn't--start getting nervous. if nobody is skipped, and philly pops up at 4, this is great.
I'm surrounding my TV with a horseshoe, rabbit foot, a penny, four leaf clover, wishbone, and the number 7. LETS GO!
I read on twitter that if we lose our pick, Philly's name will come out of the card but it'll say "from the Lakers" on the bottom or something.
1 Philadelphia Sixers 25.00% 2 Los Angeles Lakers 19.90% 3 Boston C Bags 15.60% 4 Phoenix Suns 11.90% 5 Minnesota Timberwolves 8.80% 6 New Orleans Pelicans 6.30% 7 Denver Nuggets 4.30% 8 Sacramento Kings 1.90% 9 Toronto Raptors 1.90% 10 Milwaukee Bucks 1.80% 11 Orlando Magic 0.80% 12 Utah Jazz 0.70% 13 Washington Wizards 0.60% 14 Chicago Bulls 0.50% I'll be watching this closely and hoping no one will jump. Get really nervous if the bottom 5 teams is not staying at their spots.
Today is the day. I was going to hold off posting this till the start of the lottery but I can't help myself

Do the players that travel for these workouts have to pay for their own travel or the teams catch it for them? My guess would be teams?
Yeah, Ford has been tweeting today the opposite. That the FO would be torn at 1 and 2 with fit vs. most talented, but at 3 we would look to move it.
