    Best indication that the Lakers are becoming relevant again. Spammers tend to ignore low traffic/visibility sites.

    One forum I belong to restricts new posters to a 5 day waiting period before they can post.

    They still receive some spam, but not as much as other sites that don't have such a waiting period.

    We checked into this - didn't seem to be newest members doing the spamming, so maybe these people are clever or whatever.

    I'm not a fan of making new members wait, but we are considering it.
