That's old school, Byron. Like drive your prized workhorse to an early death old school.

Pretty much safe to say yall want him out? I think there should be a new poll to see what everyone thinks of him now?

I don't want him out. I want him to change.

How long is his contract, anyway?

Some things never do though lol. Doesnt really matter, contract is full guaranteed anyway. 4-17.

If the NBA in general would get rid of their stupid guaranteed contracts, teams wouldnt mind taking the risk on some players by negotiating a fair contract for short and long term, decrease players playing hard ONLY in a contract year AND/ OR players getting lazy after getting paid. Not to mention, further strategy in building teams. I really dont get it, I hope Silver changes this, I mean shoot hes all for gambling so maybe he wouldnt be as opposed to the thought.

Dont want him gone but do want him to change whatever it is he's doing.
I also think he's only here while we rebuild, we'll hire a better coach when we want to start being competitive.

I don't want him gone. I don't think he's done a bad job at all with what he's got to work with.

He's mismanaged Kobe's minutes, and gives Kobe too much autonomy in running things IMO. That's all part of the same problem of Kobe's strong personality and too much respect. Byron needs to sit him even when Kobe says he can play.

To me, that's the only thing he's done wrong that he actually has control of. It's a mistake, but I just don't think it's that bad, and I feel his offense and defense aren't terrible when the team actually runs his plays.

Scott has probably a year and a half of freedom. If we suck, we do it in a Tank Season. We get a good draft pick. We come back with Randle and a top pick for next year, plus a new star - hopefully. Then we give him half a season and see how things are going. I would be absolutely blown away if he's fired before coaching 100 games here.

Well I mean, technically speaking, if your team cant respect nor execute your philosophy, its a problem. Guess once again, time will tell. Stretch towards All-Star break will be able to tell a wholeeee lot.

I think you nailed it, team needs to gel, gelling takes time. We shall see, thats why I feel some are overreacting way too quick 9 games into the season given the circumstances though I respect their concern.

I'm fully with you. It's ridiculously frustrating - no doubt, but it's been <10% of the season, so I want to see how things evolve.
Kobe's minutes need to be remedied ASAP, but lots of other things take time.

Byron is confident that @kobebryant will be able to play tomorrow night. “You’d probably have to ampute his leg (to keep him out).”

Two things; so, who's the coach; Byron or Kobe? If he's ill Byron, sit him. Also, they will have to amputate his legs if you keep playing him as many minutes a you do with no end in sight. This is just getting better and better...

I think many Laker fans around the world are drinking or seeking other forms of self medication at the moment.

lol. I love me some drinking too, I just now though kinda keep it to special occasions or obviously, when hanging out for a girl ;) Now as far as to watch Laker games by myself, im cool... Thatd be a whole lotta effing calories right there and the come down would blow haha. No doubt id make the game more fun to watch in the moment though!
