Perfect time to give him a night off on Sunday. Let Clarkson show us what he's got.

He's proving he can't do it Byron. Please listen.

Im cool with giving him a night off going into what, the tenth game? Shoot he should might as well take every tenth game off throughout the year. Hell be more then fine, I think he just didnt want to put the total blame on his bad shooting night due to sickness, because it is Kobe Bryant at the end of the day.

I thought so as well, he just didn't look good at all last night. He wasn't shooting much and every shot he took I felt was out of rhythm.

He sounded horrible yesterday; Lin said he seen him in the training room, and said, 'he didn't look good.' He should sit out tomorrow. Give him a couple of days off

Yeah even if youre on a mission to gain maximum muscle gain/lower body fat at the gym and you want to go hard every day, trying to work on anything possible... Eventually it gets to the point of alright, couple FULL days of rest to let your body heal will be good for you in order to continue your demanding training schedule.

IV maybe after last game but Magnetic resonance imaging no. Klapper knows what he is talking about by the way. Kobe needs his rest. I think kobe sees his mortality for the first time ever

Not having benefit of PEDs hurts recovery too. Oops did I just say that out loud? Kobe needs to become a different kind of player if he is going to make it 2'years.

Let's just start looking at young talent in 2015 draft. This season is a wash and we should not burn 24's last fuel on this. Let's not blame byron either - Wes is in starting lineup. Cmon. This team sucks and lakers fans are not used to seeing what losing really looks like. It's ok. Enjoy the game for the game. Lakers are able to make the games look interesting and always come back with 10 point rally when other team is up 20 for spread.

BTW-Just googled it and it seems every 2 months is reasonable for having MRI's done. Whatever Kobe and the Lakers as an organization decide to do, then I feel that decision is considering not just this season, but his future as well. Time will tell I suppose.

Well sheesh, I was made seem to be a homer because I made a joke of him getting one every day on simply making the suggestion that Kobe and the staff know whats best for him/ what theyre doing. Tis all.

Ask Kobe Bryant and the Lakers medical staff what they think of Dr. Klappers comment. Moving on ;)

This absolutely needs to occur periodically. Let other guys develop more and extend Kobe. It's all about having a shot in the playoffs next year.

Kobe may need to be restricted to 32 minutes max. It was clear that something was wrong with him Friday. Personally I'd like to see him held out tomorrow so he can get his legs back.

Kobe is terrible with the shooting percentage in particular. Way too many bricks. But I admire the will to do it like he was 26.
