    I don't think this has been posted yet, but it's my favorite Kobe Tribute Video I've seen so far. Glad someone finally used this soundtrack in their video.

    It's so easy to think back to Kobe's last game and get a big smile. He did the impossible, the unthinkable, the best exit for a 2 decade PRO sports legend in the history of the planet that will never likely be topped. They talk about records never being touched, well this isn't a record but anyone with a brain understands the accomplishment of what he just did. No one is touching that kind of performance certainly in the NBA after 20 years ..... ever. You'd have to wired like Bryant to even imagine it let alone overcome exhaustion and age to do what he did. A BIG F*** *** to ESPN and everyone like them. No one's ever going to top that. Yeah I guess anythings possible but what are the odds.

    We've got that forever and he's had cameras on him plus TWSN all year long especially at the end, fortunately also for us at some point in the next year to be able to tell the story the way Kobe the Producer is going to want to tell it. Of all the thrills from all the stars and moments in L.A. sports living in So Cal my whole life, I came to believe that Kirk Gibson's HR in Game 1 the 1988 World Series was the absolute number one moment ever here. Kobe's last game as a moment and performance against all odds was magnitudes larger and drops Kirk to second place. Magic's rookie final championship game starting at center and playing all the positions is there somewhere ..... but this.... we just witnessed the impossible, most amazing accomplishment in L.A. Sports history. Certainly anywhere for a 20 year sports career final game performance ever. Kobe just put it out of reach.

    Still learning more and more about this dude even after he's retired. I never heard of the Shammgod, but I did today, came across this, really interesting story I never heard before about Kobe at 16 being taught to dribble

    Man, Kobe picked up stuff from everyone he could along the way, he saw this dude who was a great dribbler and learned from him. Really makes you appreciate how much actually went into Kobe making himself into one of the greatest players of all time. He believed from such a early age that he was going to be the best, and he wasn't going to be denied. People can hate on that "arrogance" and walk over anyone to get there mentality, but how can you not also find it inspiring. Maybe he didn't have the talent at 16 to get where he wanted to go, maybe he did look crazy saying the things he did then with his actual skill set, but clearly he worked his a** off from at least then on to be the best, nobody worked harder, they can't have.

    I was thinking about this last week and wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it as well if you would agree or disagree. I know Kobe is his own person and MJ is his own person with the way they both finished their careers with the last game but I couldn't help but think of Kobe's game winning shot he hit to put us up by 1 point with 30 seconds left the way he got the shot, the fadaway on the right side of the court, the follow through he held, and then the way he banged his chest afterwards to the crowd. The similarities behind MJ's push off Russell against Utah and Kobe's last game winning shot are eerie similar. Yes, one was in the Finals and Kobe's was to end a regular season game, but the gravity of those two moments is something that just makes me think of these of those at the same.

    The 60 pts, the fatigue, the come from behind win and the way it happened with so little time left....... just special.

    24's was different in a sense that he did not have a stellar supporting cast that led to that game's defining moment. It was all by himself. No push off too. Well...someone plowed the way for him to get open. :)

    That was great! God Shammgod sounds like a great guy and that is fun to hear about 16 year old Kobe who already was telling guys he was going to be better than Jordan. They're looking at him like you're crazy dude. Pass the ball, he told Joe Bryant to tell Kobe when he came to ask if Shammgod would teach him how to dribble. Then he's thrilled year's later when Kobe's a superstar and replies to a question that Shammgod was the player who taught him how to dribble so well. Was chuckling though with these guys originally not digging his act because he was such a black hole.... and saying he was going to be better than Jordan.

    They broke the mold that produced Kobe. One of a kind.

    Actually you know what's kind of funny about the push off, Kobe did technically have a push off. Not when he hit the game leading shot, but the push off of Gordon Hayward to get 60 at the line was blatant haha.
