So the media reported they were BLM protesters, and they weren't even BLM members...

Bill Clinton Thought He Was Talking to Black Lives Matter Activists in Philly. He Wasn't.
[IMG] By Jamilah King April 08, 2016

When Erica Mines and Rufus Farmer walked into a small gymnasium in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia on Thursday, they weren't expecting to have a direct confrontation with former president Bill Clinton, who was there to stump for his wife, Hillary Clinton, ahead of Pennsylvania's democratic primary on April 26.

"We did not intend to be confrontational in any manner," Mines said in a phone interview with Micon Friday. "We just wanted to exercise our right to freedom of expression."

"We were not there to say black lives matter, just there to show discontent with Hillary Clinton because she's profited off of the black vote and now she's going after mothers who've lost their children due to unjust policing," she said. "It's almost a contradiction. You can't be against unjust policing and be in favor of the death penalty; she has to address those issues, too."

It was one of the most contentious moments of this primary season, one that could haunt the Democratic frontrunner, particularly with younger black voters. Bill Clinton defended the 1994 crime bill and his continuation of the war on drugs in a prolonged, off-script speech that's garnered national headlines and become a trending topic on Twitter. Throughout the speech, Clinton made direct references to the refrain "black lives matter," chastising critics like Mines and Farmer, who were speaking out against the 1994 crime bill.

"You are defending the people who killed the lives you say matter," Bill Clinton said. "Tell the truth. You are defending the people who caused young people to go out and take guns."

    Philly Coalition for REAL Justice.

"We support the movement, but we're not part of the organization," said Mines, who added that she wasn't surprised at all by Clinton's off-color remarks. "How many white folks do we find ourselves encountering each and every day who try to explain black folks their disparities — especially when they helped create those disparities?"

I talked with Erica Mines, the protester who sparred with Bill Clinton. My recap of it all: http://www.phillymag.com/news/2016/04/07/bill-clinton-hillary-1994-crime-bill-protest/ ...pic.twitter.com/91rWlSuQKy

regret for his confrontation with Mines and Farmer.

"Now, I like and believe in protests. I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't, 'cause I engaged in some when I was a kid," Clinton said at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. "But I never thought I should drown anybody else out. And I confess, maybe it's just a sign of old age, but it bothers me now when that happens."

"So I did something yesterday in Philadelphia," he continued. "I almost want to apologize for it, but I want to use it as an example of the danger threatening our country."

Mines still isn't impressed, and called Clinton's almost-apology "really disingenuous.'

^^^ Oh come on Barns, you know everyone who disagrees with a Clinton who is white is Klan or black is part of the BLM. No one could possibly think for themselves without following the agenda of one of those 2 groups.

Media just continuing to divide and put everyone in simple little boxes.

Apparently he was projected to win by a lot more and so this victory didn't cut into Hillary's delegate lead at all.

^^^ That's why I asked you before if it was even mathematically possible for Bernie to catch Hillary. I have read that he is predicted to be winning states, but I have also read that the numbers still won't add up in his favor. It makes little to not sense to me at all.

No it's definitely mathematically possible to catch her. She's only 200 and something delegates ahead of him the last time I heard, and New York alone is worth 250+, and California is worth 500+. I'm not even worried if he will catch her. Of the states left, I think he will win them all, and I think he will catch her.

What I'm more worried about is that mathematically, it's almost impossible for either of them to win the nomination outright, so it's going to go to the DNC convention, and we will see what matters. All of the delegates will vote for their chosen candidate, and if Bernie has the popular vote, we will see if they vote with the will of their constituents, or if they go against their will and vote for Hillary. I honestly can't predict the outcome, but I can say I'm more worried about the vote at the convention than I am about Bernie catching her. I think he will catch her on delegates and have the momentum going into the convention.

Hope you're right, Barns. If he makes it to presidential candidate he's got my vote. I might not agree with all his stances, but I sure agree with him more than any other candidates.

Funny how every "Mistake" just happens to be in Hillary's favor. It must just be random chance though right?:

"Sanders picks up another Colorado delegate as party admits error
    By NICK GASS

    04/12/16 11:58 AM EDT

The Colorado Democratic Party admitted this week that it misreported March 1 caucus results from 10 precinct locations, initially denying Bernie Sanders one delegate, but only informed Hillary Clinton's campaign, and neither Sanders' campaign nor the public, The Denver Post reported Tuesday.

Sanders is now projected to win 39 delegates in Colorado to Clinton's 27, meaning that even if Clinton walks away with all 12 superdelegates available in the state, the Vermont senator will make out no worse than tying for the state's 78 delegates.

Should Sanders earn the support of one superdelegate, he would win a slim majority of the state's delegation.

The Denver Post reported that the error occurred when a party worker entered the wrong vote tallies into the party's interactive voice response system for votes collected from 10 precincts.

State Democratic Party Chairman Rick Palacio dismissed accusations of fraud in a Monday interview with the paper, chalking it up to a "reporting error."

In the March 1 vote, the party reported that Sanders received 54 percent to Clinton's 45 percent in Denver County, while as the report noted, the corrected figures give Sanders a 56.5 percent to 43 percent advantage. Thus, instead of the two candidates splitting the eight delegates evenly as first reported, Sanders will receive five and Clinton three.

"We are obviously pleased to essentially narrow the delegate lead by two delegates, one up and one down, it's a zero sum game," Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver told the Post, adding that it is "certainly disturbing that that information gets sent to one campaign and not to another."

Palacio told the Post that not telling the Sanders campaign "didn't necessarily affect (them). It was our mistake that ended up affecting the estimation on Hillary's campaign."

****. Bernie did not hit Hillary nearly as hard as I think he had to. I expected some haymakers, but this debate was mostly a repeat of a lot of the same canned responses from both sides with a little more attitude this time.

Watch: Crowd Goes Nuts As Bernie Arrives At Vatican, Blasts “Immoral Greed” Destroying The Planet
    [IMG]
    ByColin Taylor
    Posted on April 15, 2016

This clip shows Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders arriving at the Vatican, where he is attending a conference at the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. He is pleasantly surprised to be greeted like a returning hero – crowds of Italians turned out to happily chant “Bernie! Bernie!” Senator Sanders obliges them with a moving speech about the pressing need for economic justice in the global economy.

“Very very wealthy people are becoming wealthier while most people are becoming poorer. In fact, the top 1% of people on this planet own more wealth than the 99% of the rest. That, to me, is unacceptable, it is unsustainable, it is immoral, and together we’ve got to change that. I have been enormously impressed by Pope Francis for speaking out on his visionary views about creating a moral economy, an economy that works for all people – not just the people on top!”

He goes on to discuss the dominance of the fossil fuel industry and the growing threat of climate change, another issue which he and the Holy Father are both very passionate about. He highlights how all the issues are interconnected and all trails lead back to the gross power and influence of the global oligarchy which controls the vast majority of the world’s wealth. It’s a very moving scene which emphasizes Sanders’ leadership and his ability to bring people together – and shows that his ideas are popular not just among Americans, but strikingly resonate among people from all over the world.

Mr Everyone Needs To Pay Their Fair Share only paid 13% in taxes last year.

That's less than Romney's 14% that the Left cried about.

They're all supposed to release them. He's the first that I've heard of.

Hillary won't even release trancripts of her speeches to Wall Street.
