    April 28th will be here soon enough... I don't know if a Carrie-Allen safeties tandem will work out but it would help to draft some potential replacements.

    If we can snag him, it can't be in the first round. Second tops...third at the lowest if Cravens lasts that long. Would love to be a fly on the wall during the draft in the Raider war room.

    From what I have seen, Elliott has been good. I don't see why not as we have the road pavers...

    We're really positioned to draft best available. I know we need a DB or two, but if a guy like Elliott is available, we should snag him.

    A big "if" at this point. Scanning the Raider sites, it seems all the visits and interviews are with defensive players at this point, specifically linemen and linebackers. Good with it...in McKenzie I trust. Loved Al [pre-senility] but he has been a godsend.

    - Andre DeBose reported to be recovered nicely from the Achilles injury. Good as it takes away Carrie from doing returns.

    I like Rivera. Made some timely plays. He's nowhere near as good as Walford, but this season is his final on his rookie contract. Might be time to move him.

    McKenzie doing work... Try to get another draft pick for him.

    Your South Bend homies were featured on tonight's NFL TV's Path To The Draft... The one that stood out to me was Sheldon Day. He looks legit. Can never get enough linemen on both sides of the ball. Nick Martin? Projected to be a durable ten year player...can play both guard positions.

    If Elliott does not fall in our laps... The Tide's Henry if he were available?

    Yes he is... Yes he is... Nelson could be a good pick-up if he signs on. Long in the tooth at 33 but we can draft an heir apparent come April 28.

    yea, he's on the wrong side of 30 but he's still a solid safety...IIRC, he had 8 picks last season...he and Donte Whitner (younger) are still available
