That came out distinctly anti-Magic. :D

Magic was definitely on the other side of his prime, but pride becomes an issue for guys who are the greatest. Magic wasn't a 1-on-1 player, but when a guy like Jordan comes along, it's going to test your mentality. Really what that proved to me was Magic could beat Michael in their prime at team basketball. Magic had already won the game by the time he let the feud get personal!

I've always felt that Jordan's legacy is overblown. He's certainly one of the greatest of all time, but I've always hated how his ascension meant that every other great had to be torn down for him. Magic, Russell, West, Kareem, Bird, Oscar, Elgin, Erving, Kobe, Duncan, Hakeem, Shaq, Wilt. These guys are all legends who could at some point or another argue they were the greatest of their generation and maybe the greatest of all time. Jordan though is the one everyone says we're not allowed to question. He's the greatest no matter what. I don't like that.

Yeah MJ's greatness has been blown up to mythical proportions since he's retired. It's like he's untouched basketball god and other greats don't compare. Not true at all.

Lucky you! I have been watching some stand up on youtbe lately and came across some very good ones, including him, The Three Amigos, Eddie Murphy's Delorious (by far my favorite one) and some opening speaches on Golden Globes etc. (with Robin Williams and Ricky Gervais killing it most of the time).

Would you recommend some Other comedians?

I know you're not asking me, but I watch a lot of standup comedy. Some of my favorites are a bit more obscure, but you can find a ton of their work on youtube:

Mitch Hedberg, Hannibal Buress, Bill Burr, Ron Funches, Mitch Fatel, Demetri Martin, Tom Segura, John Mulaney, Ian Edwards, Patrice O'Neal

You can find a bunch of their specials on Netflix and Youtube

John Mulaney's last two standups were amazing. I'm not a big Demetri Martin guy...

    Hedberg is great, but different.

Bill Burr might be one of the funniest guys on the planet right now.

He's one of the best ever IMO.

Hedberg had crippling stage fright, that's why he would wear glasses, have his hair over his face when he would perform. He would also be super high every time he got on stage to help with the stage fright, so that added to his style.

A couple of Pandora stations are great for comedy. There is one station PG comedy I used to listen to all the time. Lots of good stuff if you don't care for the foul language many are prone to use in comedy.
