KTLA showed a different angle of that same fight and the tackle is pretty much what we figured, but it's even more damning to the cops next to the old guy. On what planet were those two on? A guy punches anther guy without being attacked, you grab that guy. I don't care if he's the 1000 year old body of Willie Nelson, you grab him and take him out of there.

Posted to FB from a guy that attended a Trump rally:

"So, if you know me or my friend, Seth Quackenboss, then you know that we often get ourselves into ridiculously wacky situations, especially when we're together. Yesterday was one of those days. We decided to drive down to Fayetteville in order to hear a certain orange politician speak. Yes, you guessed it. We went to a Donald Trump rally. Now, I am not a supporter of Mr. Trump in any way, shape, or form. I'm quite inclined to a certain berning sensation that I've been experiencing for some time. But that's beside the point. The point is, we thought that we were in for a time of jokes and hilarity. And at the beginning, it was. There were a few speakers before Trump came out and they were not well organized at all. They were comical. One man, a veteran, said that he had shed blood on 7 continents. And unless I missed the great Antartica War, I highly doubt that's true. Let it be known for the record, that I am not against veterans in any way shape or form. I just thought that particular comment was funny. Because I doubt he actually wounded someone in Antarctica. But a more plausible explanation would be that he was doing penguin research and accidentally pricked a penguin and it bled. Anyway...
One speaker also said that we needed to get rid of 911 calls and we all need to handle our problems ourselves. Well...that's highly unlikely. I can't imagine that people will start forgoing 911 calls when their house in burning down in order to try and extinguish the fire themselves. But, ya know, it's a nice thought.
So those were my laughable moments. Trump was about to come out. We had our signs ready. We were going to go all out. Yelling and screaming and whatnot. Because, why else were we there if not to join the spectacle? He comes out. People go crazy. For the first twenty to thirty minutes I sat there with high expectations of hilarity. After half an hour, my feelings turned extremely grim. I was scared and upset. Let me explain.
Trump basically said the same few things the whole time. He knows exactly what will get a cheer from the crowd and he says it. He mentioned his wall several times. About five or six if I can remember correctly. At one point he said "We're going to build a wall. And who's going to pay for it?" And the crowd yelled, "Mexico!" and then they lost their minds. Now, we all know exactly why this is stupid. So I won't elaborate. It was just very unsettling. He mentioned ISIS several times. About ten. But not exactly how to stop ISIS. Just comments like, "We're gonna get ISIS," and "ISIS is going down." Blanket statements. He did say that for America to win again (any sort of winning, not just against ISIS) we have to go outside of the law and he isn't afraid to do it. And that's unsettling for several reasons. But I'm just reporting the facts.
And that was all he said on policy. Completely void of content or substance. Just statements that would get the crowd cheering. Now, let's talk about the protesters. There were many. I think throughout the hour long rally, there were roughly 15-20 groups of protesters. Some of them were individuals and some were in groups. They popped up throughout the rally here and there. And some of them were yelling and causing a raucous but some of them were just standing there with their anti-Trump shirts or their pro-whoever else shirts. They were all removed. Peaceful or violent. One man had a shirt that said "Love is the answer," and he was thrown out. Trump's comment on this man was, "And love is very important but I mean, who's making love to that guy?" And my stomach churned. A few minutes later, a woman stood up not far from where the other man was and starting protesting. She was removed. Trump's comment was, "She was with the other guy. They're actually a couple. A *clears throat* beautiful *gagging noises* couple." And the crowd laughed and cheered. It was horrifying.
But out of everything I saw, the crowd was the worst part. I have never seen more hateful people in my life. Everyone was just filled with so much hatred. If a protester had a sign, even the peaceful ones, they would take the sign from them, rip it up, and throw it back at the protesters. Whenever a protester would get removed, the crowd would yell horrible things. Once, after a protester was removed, Trump said, "Where are these people coming from? Who are they?" A lady, sitting not 5 feet from me, said, "Well hopefully when you're president, you'll get rid of em all!" Get rid of them? Get rid of anyone who opposes Trump? It was sickening. I felt truly nauseous. And these people loved the protesters. They loved the drama and the chaos. And Trump fed upon it. It was easily one of the strangest and uncomfortable things I've ever witnessed. I could just hear the horrible things being spoken around me and it made my skin crawl.
Needless to say, there was very little laughter on my part. I thought this was going to be joke...and it was, but for a very different reason. I implore you, if you're thinking about voting for Trump, reconsider. You are only promoting chaos and hatred. I witnessed it firsthand. And trust me, this is not something you want to see in person. This is not what you want to happen to our country. But I'll leave you with this picture we took with our souvenir. This was taken just before I lost all innocence and faith in humanity."

It's a pretty terrifying thought picking between him and Hillary Clinton because I feel like her rallies would be pretty similar except the way she treated protesters would be less childish and more venomous; hateful in a different way.

This election should have come down to Cruz vs. Sanders which would be just two decent guys with two different opinions on what will save this country. Instead we're being forced to choose between two venomous snakes and expecting their bite not to hurt us as much as the other one.

Sad sad state of affairs in this country. I can't believe we let it get to this point.

By the way the Republicans have been floating the idea of ignoring Trump's delegations and just picking Cruz (who they also hate) despite the apparent public interest in him as a candidate.

Trump's response was to break his agreement not to run as an Independent and to split the Republican vote that way.

The party has really painted themselves into a corner here. Amazing.

I don't think Clinton's winning the Democrat nomination.

The big media companies, which are owned by people who actually contributed to Hillary's campaign for Legislative favors later (NY Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC,etc.) are trying their best to say it's over, to convince people to not even vote, or not vote for Bernie, but the fact is, this is playing out just like it did in 2008 (with the exception of Bernie winning Michigan which is huge) where Obama won. All of the northern states that haven't voted yet will vote for Bernie in majority, and the Superdeligates will change their pledge according to the popular vote as they did in 2008.

it's going to be Bernie Vs Trump, or Cruze for the presidency IMO.

I hope that's not wishful thinking because I honestly don't see that happening. I see Bernie continuing to lose states to Hillary through the next few months. The Democrats would prefer her less radical ideas to Bernie's. It reminds me more of Ron Paul than Barack Obama in terms of message and impact.

It could be wishful thinking, but I don't think so.

I'm not seeing many people voting for Hillary in the Northern states. She's been taking the south for the most part.

We'll see. I don't know what to make of all this honestly. I just hope we're not looking at Trump/Clinton as our two candidates but the numbers support that so far.

I feel like I found Big Foot or the Loch-ness monster or something. For the first time today in California, I finally encountered one of these mythical Hillary supporters. A relatively young looking person driving a car with a Hillary bumper sticker. You know, the bumper sticker with the logo of an "H" that includes a red arrow pointed to the right...

Nobody should be taxed at 33%, let alone 52%.

I work 1/3 of the year for the government as it is. Why should someone work more than half the year?

Flat tax. Fair tax. Not penalize people.

Eh, I think a flat tax would be fair. And there should be oversight on how the tax money is being spent. Even if it means slightly increasing how much we're all taxed as a whole.

I'm not a fan of taxes, or increasing them. I thought I should just remove the "monster in the closet" of Bernie's tax plan and show what it actually is.

I don't mind paying more taxes if I started seeing results where they are helping to fix the country with jobs, infrastructure work, education, healthcare, etc.... but I better see some good results.

I appreciate him showing it. Most politicians avoid this because it opens them up to criticism. Now, is this actually what he would do or could get thru Congress? I have no idea. But at least he's putting something out there.

I mind paying more. I really mind it. The waste in our government and the $ going overseas is ridiculous. I'm all for helping people in times of disaster, but funding foreign armies, governments that hate us, and their ability to give to foreign governments who turn around and "donate" to political campaigns has to stop.

The Trump rally's are getting scary. The mixture of his idiot fans / supporters and the idiot protesters who are their to cause problems is a volatile mix.

The rally in Chicago last night was shut down. People were blocking an ambulance from getting to hurt people. Today, (I think in Cincinnati) Trump was hit by something when giving a speech.

I saw a picture of an old lady at his rally giving the Nazy salute. She looked to be about 70 years old.

Someone is gonna get hurt. Not a matter of if, but when.

I'm all for Free Speech. He has a right to give speeches. And people have a right to protest. But the protest should not block free speech, and vice versa. Where is the happy medium? Where is the respect from either side? When does it end?

Yeah, I should have added what you're saying here, but I consider it a given that all needs to stop for taxes to not feel like a waste.

Ya know, I've been thinking about this and conflicted about the protesters shutting down the Trump rally in Chicago.

The protesters at the Trump rallies get kicked out and it's justified as being ok because the Trump supporters outnumbered the protesters, the protesters could be inciting a riot or agitating the crowd by what they're doing and saying. Well isn't that just a microcosm of what happened in Chicago? Trump and his supporters came to Chicago, the protesters of Chicago didn't support them being there expressing their Trump support and so, the protesters escorted them out

Just a weird situation where who is inciting who just depends on which side is in the majority at the time.
