Home run swing. I feel it connecting and softly springing off the bat. Flying deep to center... It could be, 'this is gonna be a home run'

(Wakes up. Looks at day on calendar. Realizes it's November 2014. Goes back to emulating rip van winkle for the 2014-2015 laker season).

Honestly that'd be awesome. I don't know that we would have a great spot for him though what with Randle returning... Not unless we ran Randle at SF or Love at Center.

Still fun to think about though. What if Cleveland gave up Wiggins and Bennett for Love and he left Cleveland? Oh... Delicious.

He's not going anywhere, IMO. Plus, I'd rather develop Randle and spend that money elsewhere.

Recall Gasol was worried about the theatre district in okc. Cleveland has a nightlife downtown but cmon if you are not winning championships or from cleveland its not the place to be young and wealthy. Ron Harper said it best upon joining a crappy clippers team about 20 years ago: (on leaving cle) 'honestly, I feel like i just got outta jail!'

lol. It is a possibility...Hes not entitled to Clev what so ever. They took the risk on Loves word of staying long term if all goes well but like us,if hes not happy or gets a better job opportunity, you would think you would be willing to strongly consider leaving your job youre cool/content with for a job that has the POTENTIAL to be amazing and will be an environment youll be happy to be at to get to where you want to be from day one.

If Love did come, Randle would be traded IMO.

Sign Love & build a trade package for another superstar around Randle.. That'd be a quick road back.

Hate to give up on randle. He's going to be very good. And yes I know we are all dreaming aloud. This is going to be a different thread.

Man I still wouldn't trade Randle. I'd figure something else out. We have the cap space to add friends here we don't need to jettison our pick that early. There's literally no one we could get back realistically that I would pull the trigger for.

Agree with you. Tank is on! Cleveland loves no 1 picks. Sign and trade!

Trade our picks AND Randle for Love? Nah man. Just take Love if he wants to come here. I'm not giving Cleveland a damn thing until they're so far beneath us I couldn't spit down far enough.

Gilbert is one of the main reasons the Paul trade was vetoed. I hope his team collapses in a fiery ball of hell and everyone leaves Cleveland again in a year.

Agree. Just no 1 pick. Randle stays here in my world.

Maybe, but then again why trade the pick if Love can just come over? Say we get a top 5 pick and end up with Mudiay?

Mudiay/Bryant/Young/Randle/Love is a hell of a young cast. Not a playoff team in the West, but a good team. That SF spot could be filled by someone else too since we would some cash left over after Love. We'd be undersized again, but I think we're going to run into that problem a lot.

Is the city of Cleveland that bad to live in? Just asking...I've never been to Ohio.
