ESPN radio said something about Kobe and Drake having a problem with each other this weekend. No idea what it was. Any ideas? Also, they think it stems back to Drake's song referencing Kobe's wife not being in the gym.

    Anyone know what happened?

Does Barry's last comment come off backhanded...or maybe it's just me being a Laker fan?

Well...during the intros, 24 did not come over to give the warm and fuzzies to Drakey. Then again, Curry did the same thing. Drake did wear a Mamba Farewell jacket. Hideous but appropriate I suppose.

Well if it looks like a Jon, walks like a Jon and talks like a Jon Barry ... it probably was.

...didn't know either. Resentment runs deep when you are part of the Sacramento Kings squad dispatched two years in a row by the Lakers. Barry was not part of the 2002 team that came oh so close whom we took out in seven. If he was, he would be seeing the same psychologist Webber was or is now.

That was really cool, some great photos. Putting on and taking off that All-Star jersey for the last time, had to be emotional. Playing with and against guys that were kids when he started. Sucks that Butler was hurt, but I'm glad Pau got to be there for his last AS game, they shared some moments.

Dwayne Wade is an odd addition to that cast. I get Paul and Carmelo because those three are very close, but Wade? Wade's always been kind of a douche to Kobe on the court.

I'll never forget that game winner for the simple fact that it was one of those days and nights where he was in Colorado for his case all day, super tired, and still was able to hit daggers against the team whose city was trying to convict him. One of the more bittersweet GW's in my opinion

They are actually really great friends, have been for a long time, and they've been that way on the court for a while. If there ever was some conflict it was during the Shaq & Wade days. Definitely not when Wade broke his nose in the ASG, Kobe would be the first to say he liked that aggressiveness from Wade, because I know the next game Kobe took it to Wade hard.

I agree with that, but the optics are still bad. I know they're friends, but so is LeBron. I don't think (although I'm not friends with them so I don't know) that Wade is as close as Carmelo or Paul. I know Kobe and Carmelo and Paul are all very, very close. I didn't think Wade and LeBron were at the same level, but the hell do we know I guess? :D This is the private life of players that we're not really privy to.

It's also the culture I kind of hate in the game today too. I wish everyone wasn't friends with everyone.

...saw bits of "He Got Game" last night. To think, Spike Lee wanted 24 in the role of Jesus Shuttlesworth but the latter declined to work on his game. Dedication to the nth degree.
