^^^ Was about to mention that - they showed that on TWC! Ben Simmons shouted out Kobe, and also his homie DLO!

Time to start losing from now on. No need to go hero on the Nets and the Suns ;)
I can already see a convo between DA and JC few years from now. "Damn, Ben is dropping 40 on us once again. But hey, remember those wins agains Pellicans and Minny in 2016? How sweet was that"

That is going to be a tough choice alright, but as always a wonderful luxury to have. I don't know if it's going to reach a point like last draft where it becomes absolutely clear who is #1 like with Towns, hopefully the rest of the college season can help with that, but it would be so much easier if Simmons were on a better team that might make a deep tournament run. Then again if he makes that team better and takes them on a run that says a lot, I think the article is asking for that too.

To me it's still SImmons for the same reasons whoever ^^ that is said.

But Ingram is no consolation. He'll be a pretty good NBA player.

I need to watch more, but the complaints about ingram sound like the complaints about Durant.

He's not as explosive as KD and I think he lacks a bit of the pop KD had. Ingram also hasn't had the kind of scoring explosions that KD had in college.

The comparison is solid though. I mean if Simmons is compared to LeBron, then certainly Ingram can be compared to Durant.

I love Simmons but part of me thinks Ingram's a better fit for our roster.

If we get lucky enough to land Simmons then Randle will most likely get traded. You don't need 4 players let alone 2 big guys that can push the ball. Creates confusion in the offense.

Simmons on 3x2 watch: 16-9-7 with 3 steals and 2 blocks.
Ingram shot just 3-10 for 14 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.

I actually think Ingrams stat line is very telling. He scored 14pts on just 3 shots, so he got the rest at the FT line.

Getting to the line is a talent that all great scorers possess. I like it!

I agree, Ingram had a tough night shooting but found plenty of other ways to help his team with assists, rebound, steals, and a few blocks

You know that he won't get those calls as a rookie for the lakers though.

True. As a Laker he'll only get a 3-4years rookie treatment from the refs. Afrer that, it's all good...

Sabonis 20-11-3 on 4/5 Fgs and perfect 12-12 at the line.

    Our team is so bad
We're drooling over next year's rookies
    Meanwhile our coach
    Learned to communicate from Wookies.
