I'm still waiting on Ultron to come on Netflix in the US... I'm sure already released Netflix stuff should be on there. So you haven't watched JJ or DD yet?
So I just finished Jessica Jones over the weekend. I'm familiar with the source material (Alias) and they totally captured the crime-noir feel of the books. Not only that, Jessica's f'd up situation and her struggles was on display the whole time. Krysten Ritter did an amazing job conveying that on screen. I did feel by the time the third last episode rolled around they were just extending it a little bit further. What I mean by that is: Spoiler By the time Jessica captured Killgrave and put him in that CDC room, I thought that was it. But nope. Killgrave escaped AGAIN and now Jessica has to go look for him AGAIN. I just thought by that point the writers were running out of ideas and needed to extend it to 13 episodes. There were so many times she could've killed him but I suppose the narrative there is Killgrave is one slimy mofo that Jessica will always be one step behind him. My only other disappointment: No reference to Matt Murdock (other than Claire showing up at the end there). When Jessica needed a lawyer at the end, it'd been cool to see Matt representing her (as it was in in the Alias comic books) instead of Jeri. I thought Jeri would've walked away from all of Jess' mess. That's it for my 0.02 cents. DAREDEVIL S2 IS OUT SOON!!!!
Yeah JJ's plot to me was hit and miss. It didn't feel nearly as organic and wholesome as DD's did, but it was still a very good show.
The marketing guys in charge of Deadpool are geniuses. They're an extension of Deadpool himself. Brilliant!
Im on the episode 19 (shield) and it realy is fun. Im loving Fitz and Simmons... och and f*** agent Ward.
I thought the twist with Agent Ward's character was fantastic. One of the things that makes me love AoS so much. You're still in for some big surprises with a lot of the characters though.
Im fighting the urge to check wiki or whatever and see what's up . As it stends now, i would love for Skye to put a bullet in Ward's head. Actually 5 bullets.
"NETFLIX GIVES JESSICA JONES A SECOND SEASON POSTED BY RV WALKER ON JANUARY 17, 2016 SHARE: Spoilers about the first season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones ahead. Read at your own peril! For reals you guys, we’re super gonna spoil things. Do not read further if you don’t want to know what happened. Are you ready? I’m ready, are you ready? Then here we go! For reals. — Killgrave is dead — praise the All-Father — but the Jessica Jones series lives on. Krysten Ritter‘s amazing turn as the superpowered heroine-turned-private investigator was notable for its nuance and willingness to delve into dark territory. Jessica was shown to be at once fearless and tortured by her past. The loss of her family in her teenage years bonded her to adoptive sister Patsy Walker, but didn’t give her any positive adult influences in new guardian Dorothy. Her further abuse by devious Killgrave pushed her into a life of solitude and booze, but her innate yearning to do the right thing — the noble thing — never wavered through any of it. Imperfect as her choices and methods of dealing with trauma may be, Jessica Jones is a hell of a character, and the fact that we’ll be getting a full second season is a treat. When Netflix andMarvel‘s Daredevil proved willing to dive into much gorier fare than we’d seen in Marvel’s Phase 1 and Phase 2 movies, Jessica Jones proved that the emotional ramifications of battle, abuse, and even heroism could make for even more jarring storytelling. Where Jessica’s story will go in the second season remains to be seen, but I think it’s fair to assume that Patsy and Malcom will become further enmeshed in Jessica’s Alias Investigations. According to Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos, we likely won’t see Marvel’s Jessica Jones season 2 until after the premiere of the upcoming The Defenders series, and scheduling the crossovers between Marvel’s Luke Cage and Marvel’s Iron Fist will take a fair amount of planning that could affect its premiere date. The second season of Marvel’s Daredevil is scheduled to premiere on March 16th. " http://nerdist.com/netflix-is-giving-jessica-jones-a-second-season/
