Hibbert isn't a very good player overall ... bad offensive player , can't stay on balance , not mobile and quick enough for today's game.

As I said before , would be a good backup C

I can deal with his skill level if he gives max effort. Usually I feel he does, he uses what tools he has to the most he can, but not tonight. Tonight he played scared and acted like he wanted no part of Cousins, he wanted out. Stand in there and take the punishment, put a hand up, don't back down, and I'm good. But give up, quit like that, man that bugs me.

I'm down on Hibbert too. On offense its basically playing 4 on 5 with him in there. His defense is a bit overstated because of his lack of mobility. He's too slow to guard the screen and roll. He's a good rim protector but there are other aspects to defense as well.

    Mine is still Durant :D

But Whiteside is absolutely on the list. So is Zaza Pachulia by the way.

None of these guys will be called out for their bad defense; @Doc Brown showed the other clip where Lou flat out just didn't rotate to the shooter in the corner. Yet, Byron will not call out the team or even Lou in this instance. So, when Julius says, he thought the defense against Phoenix in the 4th quarter was a 'team' issue, and didn't like being singled out, there is credence to what he said, and most if not all of us knew there was, and why Julius was clearly frustrated with Scott. Scott's words and actions directly contradict with one another. This is all quite sad.

In that clip I don't know what sets up before hand, but clearly Kobe and Lou are confused. Kobe rushes the guy off the line and Nance actually does rotate over well. Clarkson is not down there helping the helper and Kobe should be sprinting out to the three point line to cover the shooter.

The only one who did well: Nance Jr. I like that kid.

The problem started with Kobe closing 'hard' on Rondo; why are you closing hard on Rondo? A soft close would have been more appropriate and if Rondo takes an open 3, great; he's a horrible shooter. Once Kobe closes hard, Rondo drives right past him breaking down the defense.

I'm considering that as part of he and Lou being confused at the start. I think what happened before we see that clip is Lou is closest to Rondo, then he bails to the corner and Kobe overadjusts rushing out on Rondo. It all started with a miscommunication there. That kind of stuff happens all the time though in our defense. We never communicate effectively.
