Went to bed with " f*** the celtpricks though" in my mind . Woke up , watched the game , get a win and started my day with " f*** the celtpricks " in my mind . This will never change
I didn't get to watch, but when I looked at the box score, I was shocked at winning while shooting something under 40%. Philly was even worse
http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles...ssing-lakers-lottery-odds-following-76ers-win Does anyone honestly even care about the tank? I honestly don't. If we keep the pick great, but I already feel like we have a young core in place we can build around. I wanna see these kids start winning because they need to know what that feels like and how to win. That's the most important thing. The odds of us keeping that pick are slim anyway and very slim to get #1. I absolutely hate this article and idea. Cheering for losses really? I could never do that. As a Cowboys fan a lot of people were wanting them to tank as well and I'm just like really? These are professional athletes. Do you honestly expect them to try and lose? That's not what they're supposed to do and nor should we want them too. You compete and try and do everything in your power to win. That's what I believe and I believe if we have that kind of mindset eventually things will change around here and the Lakers will get back to winning basketball.
Watch.... just in time to take advantage of Curry and Barnes being dinged up, Scott the Mensa will strike with his next genius moves and insert Russell back into the starting lineup, but bench Clarkson and hand a DNP to Randle to show him whose boss. What advantage ..... pffftttt.... we never have an advantage with him calling the shots and the rotations. He's killing any optimism I have left about this season with his complete mishandling of the talent on the roster he was given and the damage he is doing.
I'm optimistic that we will NOT have a draft pick this year, and will not fall in the bottom 3. Major injuries to Brooklyn and Phoenix, and we're starting to play better
So dumb and very short sighted. If you have the opportunity to acquire more assets then you should always take that chance. A top 3 pick doesn't have to be a new college player, its a heck of trade chip to acquiring a great veteran. Our young core is Randle and Russell, they're a couple years away from being really good/great. The more I watch JC the more I'm convinced that he'll never be an All Star. He'll be a starter yet not someone you build a team around. We need one more great prospect on our team, I'll take my chances in the lottery rather than not have the chance to get anything at all. We won't be this bad next year so kiss the 2017 pick goodbye right now.
