Most of his 3s weren't bad shots last night. There were 2 or 3 that were questionable but most of the misses were bailouts at the end of the shot clock. That being said, I'm glad he isn't chucking 20 3s a game anymore.

Oh boy. 7-22 in 28 minutes. He took bad shots tonight. He's got to be better.

Also the fact that this dude IS our offense is a major problem. What the hell Boron? You're making this dude work way too hard and you suck too much to figure out ways to get our other guys looks.

It's beyond embarrassing. Byron is a hack.

Kobe was awful tonight. What the hell does he think he's doing trying to get in a one on one battle with Durant? You're 37 bro. You can't do it anymore. 22 shots in 28 minutes is asinine and unacceptable. Very disappointed. Makes me think his recent stretch of unselfishness was just an aberration.

When nobody else can score he's still the leader of this team. He'll always force it in those situations.

He'll always try to score and shoot amap against the Durant's, Bron's, Melo's and Wades's of the league. That's Kobe :).

He was clearly LA's best player in the first half. I'm not sure what happened after that. I didn't watch.

The ball stopped when he was in. He seem to either be determined to take the shot, or to assist on the basket with a single pass. Neither were working well.

Kobe in his 20th season with twice as many votes as LeBron ha ha. The first 17 games of the season I'd say he didn't deserve it, but since then, sure why not. If the fans want to see it, put him on, a farewell AS game, he doesn't even have to play that much.

I love Kobe, but I still don't think he deserves it not as a starter anyway. He's still only shooting 34 percent from the field. Obviously he's played a lot better recently, but it really annoys me when guys get in because of their rep. It should be based on what you're doing now. To me the starters should be Steph, Westbrook, Durant, Leonard, and Davis. If Kobe keeps playing like he has I think he should get in as a reserve, but definitely not a starter.

Starters are voted in by fans, there have been years where the starters don't exactly deserve it but the fans vote them in so they start. But man Kobe's lead is huge, the amount of votes the Eastern Conference is getting is really sad.

I disagree because, let's be real, the AS game is a popularity contest. I don't think a player's performance matters because the AS weekend is about giving back to the fans. Kobe is recognized globally and he's the most popular NBA player of this generation. He's a rockstar. So if the fans want to see him play for the last time he deserves it more than anyone imho.

If you're talking about the bench selection, then yes, I agree it should be based on that player's performance.

Yea I quite honestly don't really care about fairness. Fans want Kobe, they should get Kobe.

I'm so glad to hear this. I voted for him! Honestly, Kobe's actually been playing like an all star these past few weeks ever since the abysmal Philly game. He deserves it IMO. Amazing to see him double the votes of Lebronze. So rad! The people got this one right!
