From what I saw toward the end of the game, Lou played pretty well. But if it's costing Dlo playing time, I'm not sure I like it THAT much. Still, GJ LOU!

I thought he played a really good, smart game. He was great defensively and offensively he was a lot more selective and even had a couple nice passes too.

This game I would have finished with D'Angelo, but Lou came through so it's hard to argue the move.

Solid game for Lou. I feel we are under-appreciating him because he really struggled dealing with that hand injury. Lou is also pretty well spoken, forthcoming, and thoughtful in his postgame answers so I appreciate that as well.

He basically said he came into the league young so he knows what that's like but he couldn't imagine the pressure of being asked to carry a franchise right away like Russ & Randle are being asked to. He thinks they're taking it day by day and handling it well.

Anyways, I don't know if Lou's part of our longer term plans but I appreciate ya Lou.

Yeah I think we all may have been a bit too hard on Lou. This guy is a really solid basketball player. You don't win sixth man of the year unless you're a damn good player. He's been put in bad positions by our numbskull coach just like every other player. He should be instant offense off the bench and not a facilitator or primary ball handler. Definitely a guy I think we should try to keep around.

Boron has been using him wrong like he's used everyone wrong. Lou is not a point guard. He should be on the wing and on the wing only.

You guys are hard on Lou? I love Lou. I thought he was a great signing when we got him and I still think that today.

I was actually okay with him finishing because Jordan tweaked his ankle, but generally I'd like to see him out there more as a steadying presence throughout the game. Lou is a great scorer off the bench even though I hate his wussy little fouls he draws. He's not necessarily a teacher type, but he's the kind of guy who can show by example how to play with poise.

Going forward, I'd prefer if JC finished games, but I'm glad we have Lou here.

I don't mind Lou the scorer, I do mind Lou the creator. He had a few assists yesterday, but he's so much better off getting set up by Russell than with the ball in his hands. So technically...it's Byron.

I feel with the ball in his hands, and not being a pass first guard, a lot of time is lost with him creating a shot. He has a great stroke, but he's not a creator like Nick Young is. He's more of a catch the ball off a pass and utilizing his speed to get open. When he has someone draped all over him, he throws up a very low percentage shot or tries to draw a foul.

He's been very consistent ever sense he was moved into the starting lineup.

I think it has as much to do with not playing point guard anymore as it does anything else. When he's off the ball he can actually play. Imagine that, a player that plays well at their given position. Are you paying attention, Boron?

I think it has more to do with his hand healing up. He banged his shooting hand early in the year and it was affecting his shooting which is basically all he does.

Or maybe it's regression. He's at very close to his career averages now.

Yep. Even his defense was OK-ish.

I think he is more valuable to us than a late first either as a trade chip or as a player. I don't see the value in stockpiling more young talent at this point.
