Looking back at some of my projections: Carr is already up to 3589 yards, 30 TDs, and 11 INTs. He's even better than I thought he'd be. Murray is at 236-956 and 5 TDs. He'll probably get there in yards and TDs, but it's a lower average than I was thinking. Helu is 14-34, and clearly wasn't in the role I thought he'd be. Olawale has 24-110-1. Reece just 10-36. Cooper: 68-1040-6 - already exceeded my projections Crabtree: 76-849-7 - ditto Rivera: 30-268-1 - I figured his #s would come down a bit, not quite this much though. (Butler 32-381-2) Reece 32-284-2* (on pace for right around that) Streater 28-379-2 (yikes!) Helu 26-221-1 LTM 19-131-1 Walford 12-109-1 (doubled up these numbers already) Holmes 11-161-1 (11-168-4; big time TD numbers) Roberts 11-145-1 Smith 6-35-1 Olawale 2-6 Roberts: 27-423-5 - big surprise
^Well done... Carr should stop channeling his inner Schaub and avoid those pick sixes. Happy with his progress however. The previous season, Carr's passing was relegated to short and intermediate. Now the field is being stretched a bit and he's made some mistakes. I'm confident he'll work it out and be even better in 2016. Raider Alert: "A Football Life" with Ken "The Snake" Stabler will air on Christmas.

Thanks - this team is definitely more potent than I'd thought, and it's largely due to a much more balanced attack than we've had in years. Wow - Christmas is going to be a busy sports day.
Wish list: - an heir apparent to Woodson [a year or two from now...] - a healthy Nate Allen - a shutdown corner - a capable defensive lineman [Kenny Clark?] - more offensive line depth - re-sign Aldon Smith - a stud linebacker who can play the run and cover... [Myles Jack? Cravens?] - a healthy Neiron Ball - a competent return specialist
Covers well...plays the run...great instincts. He and Allen would be a good tandem. Then again...maybe, just maybe...Woodson can change his mind. My take is the close losses this season really bothered him [5 by my count]. He has said so in interviews probably not wanting to deal with such things anymore. That and those injuries to his shoulder.
i wish, bud....i wish i regret not going to Oakland or SD this year to see him play one last time...if he changes his mind, i'll go to Carson or SD or wherever our boys play next season... i did it for Kob...gotta do it for Woodson
