Optimism is too low after Mitch's State of the Union so..... 2 DAYS!!! Let me say it again...TWO FREAKING DAYS!!! SMILE EVERYONE!
I almost can't believe what I'm seeing here. We are up big and look in control. It's foreign to me now
One of the most fun games to watch all season. Whole team excited and the crowd pumped up. Feels like the old days.
We got lucky that Monroe didn't play. But it was great to get a double digit win. When's the last time we had one of those? Crazy!
There should be a Sacre thread. Stepped up his game a notch. Adds to my overall optimism. D loading going for ROY. Randle double double. Vino's finally going out the right way. The guys look like they genuinely enjoy playing with him and learning from him now. The future is bright!
For the first time in a long time the ball moment, energy on offense and defense was there last night. I'll mostly attribute it to being back home, but it was so good to see. From the opening tip the ball was moving all around the court, swinging around the perimeter, going in and out of the post. Guys started almost too unselfish, like when Nance caught a pass by the hoop and passed it back out to Lou I believe for 3, Sacre jumped off the bench and yelled "shoot that!" and I agreed. Kobe especially was more decisive than I have seen him all season. The ball was not stopping with him, he was either immediately looking to move it, or immediately shooting, or immediately pump faking then shooting. If he's going to be that decisive, be a catch and shoot player like we have hoped he'd be, he's so much more effective. Catch the ball in rhythm, pump fake, let the defender fly by, take a step in and fire from 15 feet, he can do that and make that shot in his sleep.
Kobe's not settling for 3's anymore. That's always a good sign. Even with Giannis on him, he still went for the midrange game which is a better shot for him, even contested.
The computer in his head that allowed him to get off with that arc and bury that fall away J over ^^^ 6' 11" (10"?) Giannis last night .....had the latest software, firmware (?) and artificial intelligence upgrades. That was amazing!
He looks infinitely better than he did at the start of the season in terms of shot selection and conditioning. The last 2 games he's had a lot of pep in his step. If he plays at this level for the rest of the season in no more than 25-30 min a game, I think it would make a beautiful swan song for the Mamba. It all depends on that body of his and Byron actually managing his minutes well.
Any ideas where I could find online the new Lakers on court jacket in WHITE ? Couldn't find a proper thread . Thanks guys
