    One of the sacks was awesome. It wasn't speed...just straight ran over that lineman. No swim or spin move anything fancy-schmancy. Bull rush, all power. One, two, three...the dude was on his butt not knowing what hit him.

    ...which brings me to those blown games. Four of them. I hate harping on it but this season could be better than it is. Then, I realize we have practically new blood on the team. Inexperience has cost us. On the very bright side, with health and maturity...our team will spell trouble from here on. Prospective free agents will see what is being built, a winning culture being developed..and Oakland will be an attractive place to be a part of it. Hell, maybe we can get on the MNF or TNF schedule too for next season!

    Green Bay is up next. Let's see if our defense can hang with Rodgers and Co. Their receiving corps don't have a game-breaker without Nelson and have trouble separating from their covers. If our offense can get untracked early, we have a chance. What I find assuring is Carr has that swagger like his gun slinging idol Favre. Nothing fazes him. Just have to stop those game changing picks... Seth Roberts has been a nice find too. He's kept the reliable Streater on the pine.
