The Silver and Black Optimism takes... - Del Rio said no to his alma mater to stay on. - Seth Roberts is proving to be a playmaking third wide-out...and he can block too. - Justin Tuck is nominated for the Payton Award. - DJ Hayden was benched...let's hope he gets it together. - if Oakland can find a good head coach that fits, surely the Purple and Gold can do the same. Scalp the Chiefs! Go Raiders!
We need to get off to fast start. Playing catch-up with their defense pinning their ears back is not a recipe for success. This group has the right mindset just a matter of finishing games. We haven't been being rolled easily like we have the previous seasons. Those close losses to Denver, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Detroit are proof that we are just about there. We were a kickoff return that broke momentum in the Viking game. All very encouraging signs. There is still next year's April draft and McKenzie has been very good at picking. If we can retain Smith and Crabtree, it would be great. Free agents aren't looking at Oakland as the dead end street anymore with our resurgence. In our division, Kansas City is still very good, Denver might have found themselves an heir apparent to Mr. Nationwide and San Diego can rebuild quickly. We definitely need to keep pace.
we choked thats all there is to it. Frustrating way to see how many games we let get away from us this season. Exciting that we are in the position but still frustrating. Young team problems.
Watched this one with my bro in Houston. The rapport between Carr and his WRs was awful - about five costly drops and then then Carr started holding onto it too long. Total choke job by the entirety of the offense.
We fightin'...fightin' hard...just bad breaks...correctable mistakes going forward...promising future. Not the total cluster**** that the other basketball organization that we all love.
The Lakers have a promising future too. We just need to find the right coach. Easier said then done, but it's not all doom and gloom!
I love that we locked up Crabtree. Watching the guy work this season has been amazing. I think he and cooper will make life so much easier on Carr. Now just get Carr to stop making those rookie (yea I know not a rookie) mistakes late in games.
I am aware of the promising future aspect... I'm talking about our bobblehead Jeanie, silent Jim, befuddled Mitch and our coach [looking to be in 2016 too]. That promising future could be frittered away by mismanagement by both the ownership regime and incompetent coaching. I can't imagine that promising future looking forward to another year of it...
Great article on Woodson... I hope he comes back. http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2015/12/08/nfl-charles-woodson-oakland-raiders
Alright game on tv. Last time I got to watch a game we got the victory. Lets se how we go. Carr looks uncomfy with pressure already. Kid needs to settle himself
Woodson nearly grabs the int. Defense holds broncs to 3. Denv moving ball at will for the most part. Raiders offense take 2.
The book is out on carr right now....add pressure and he gets flapped. The broncs just gonna keep pressuring him. We have -14 yards of offense
