    Dear Lakers Basketball,

I started this season brimming with hope and enthusiasm. A collection of young talent, savvy veterans and a coach with a good track record. I wasn't expecting a miracle but nevertheless I thought we would be competitive. Then the games started. I can't believe how much we suck playing together, what an out of touch coach running the team and we are losing on a regular basis. I am getting/gotten to the point where I don't have any more f***s to give. I am ready to let you go this season. I want you to know now so that I don't have to put up with this crap as I need to. There is 2016-2017.

We should just set up a torrent of a collection of past Laker games or a recent Laker season where we weren't completely balls and just watch those on game days. I nominate the 2008-2009 season.

    This is some embarrassing s**t.
The man who cannot shot the gd ball doesn't even have to be on the floor. Why is KB allowed to take 25-30 shots per game? Get rid of Byron now, he is mentally will or masochist or smth. This team is capable of more then 2 wins, but not with this coach and not with Kobe playing like this. I predicted 40 wins. 40 wins my a**. What I am afraid of is that JC, Randle and DAR going through all that s**t will break mentally and then we become sixers 2.0. So maybe it's time to also let Match go? And may be do smth about mr. Jim Buss?

I have the Laker Dynasty DVD set and 2009 championship for days like these (still missing the 2010 DVD).

John Ireland needs to read the mood and ask better questions. Asking Nick Young "are you surprised Kobe didn't get booed?" Are you f***ing serious? Who gives a f*** after a performance like that? FFS, the entire Laker organization is turning into a bunch of idiots. This season can't just be about Kobe's farewell. NEWS FLASH: THERE WILL BE A TEAM AFTER HE RETIRES.

I don't see what's wrong with that question. After how Kobe has been received in Philadelphia in his career there were a lot of people who wondered if he'd get an ovation or not and he definitely deserved one. I'm glad they did the right thing and gave him one.

As far as I can see, season ticket holders have not had a town hall meeting for several years, roughly since Jim took over. I am 100% that if there were one now Byron's resignation would be vigorously called for if not Jim's as well.

Omg... We lost to the 76ers?! What happened? We were up by 8 or something when I last saw.

I'm not criticizing that Philly showed him love. I'm glad they did. But who cares if the other players are surprised or not that Kobe didn't get booed? Is that a good question to ask after a loss like that? If we won and won convincingly and the atmosphere is jovial, okay I get it. But to me, that is such an irrelevant question. The fact that he is asking all the players about Kobe this and Kobe that is bordering on disrespectful and ignorant to the situation.

Kobe's 17 3PA's happened... with no repercussions from the head coach...

And the defense? I did not see any.

Between now and Christmas there are 13 games, possible wins might come from Detroit, Twolves and Denver (but probably not). And expect the Clippers to beat us up on Christmas day like they always like to do. I'd be optimistic to think we end up 3-27 at that point.

If Nick Young is speaking logical stuff in the post game, you know something is wrong. If Byron is still here after the road trip, he's staying....

    this is rock bottom guys

it's time to tank. just let kobe take every shot he wants the rest of the way and develop the young guys, that's what this season needs to be all about. byron needs to go and a coach who can actually develop russell, clarkson, and randle needs to be hired ASAP. develop them during this lost season and hope we get a top 3 pick in the draft.

i never thought there could be a season that would make 05-07 good. and we thought those were bad times.....
