adelman is done and i really don't think he'd take the lakers job if he really wanted to coach again

i think they need to move on from these old, recycled coaches. bring in a new face, someone like walton, ed pinckney, tyronn lue, kenny atkinson, or kevin ollie. like someone mentioned earlier, brown's staff had some real good prospects like snyder, messina, and clifford but they're all with other teams now. this team needs a fresh, new face as head coach

I like the Walton hire only if Barnes comes with him.

Agreed. If we are looking at fresh coaches, I'd give Lue a shot. I prefer Walton given his Laker roots but it remains to be seen if he bolts Golden State. 24 will be gone so there is no one to there to push the newcomer into a corner. I would think that the young crew will be more pliable to a more current perspective.

Adelman would have been my choice instead of Mike Brown and instead of D'antoni (unless Phil said yes). I think the pieces we had at the time fit better into his kind of system. I'm not so sure about now. But I agree it might be time for someone fresh, someone who is not too set in their ways, and is ready to grow with the team. A modern coach for a modern NBA.

Is anybody here a season ticket holder or know someone who is?

Have the season ticket holders tried to contact the FO to get a read on what's going on?

It's one thing to have fans on the internet rant and rave. It's another if the fans signing the checks are raising their voices.

Should have brought back Phil Jackson and had either Luke or Fisher waiting in the wings. But Jim Buss is a moron, so now we have Boron.

I think Luke will stay with the Warriors, Kerr is a question mark and may retire if that back is not gonna get better.

Apparently this is the 1st time in our history at least one Lakers player didn't score more than 10 pts in a game ( in 5301 games) ( French source).

    Crazy stat if true

probably true, because no matter how we suck in the 70s 0r 90s, we still had all-star caliber players

At this point, it seems like we are even behind the pace of last season.

I had predicted 30 wins before the season but it seems like 20 will already be a challenge. And it wouldn't bother me if it wasn't for the pick going to Philly...who might have the number 1 and 2 pick in the coming draft...

Actually they should really be ashamed. They are just goddamn awful.

Best they could have is 1st and 4th picks in the draft. Top 3, we get to hold onto it

They ended up with slightly better stats by the end of the game. That was the most minutes by Russell all season and probably Clarkson too. We need to keep leaving them on the floor and letting them play.

Baxter Holmes makes a good living off of negativity towards Kobe. He was a hater when Kobe was good and now he's got a negative Kobe article after every game. Good for him.

    ***hole.
