Apparently that's his thing though. Preaches toughness, defense, old-schoolness. Doesn't actually put any schemes or system in place to back that up.
What an ahole. Whose job is it to make the players ready to play? If I was playing for him and I see that in the press, I'd be pissed as hell. Like eff that guy.
Pretty sure a closed door meeting needs to happen soon, or this train has the potential to come off the tracks
Potential? Go watch what Mensa Scott had for the center position plan again against freaking Boogie Cousins when Roy was out. Did Tarik get with his "halogens" or run over his cat or pee in his duffel bag ....... or what??????????
Mike D was not shy about saying they don't practice defense. Russell would look 5 times better under him too. Byron on the other hand, always talks about how hard they practice D... i can't tell the difference to be honest. He would make a great priest/preacher, he's a lousy coach.
I think we need lineup changes...(Coaching change as well lol) I don't think Russell,Clarkson,Kobe, Randle, Hibbert is good mesh-up. Too many ball stopper/handler/needer personnel. Only way this line up could work is if 1.kobe would stop shooting like curry and be more like Jordan and post up. Shoot turn-around jumper, short jumper, fadeaway, use his footwork and shoot higher percentage shot. 2. Randle need to stop this Iso bullying your way to the hoops ala Lebron and post up on the block. He needs to use his strength and his post up game. Demand the ball down low. 3. We need Russell to be a POINT GUARD and let him create!!!!!!!! WHY is he being used as spot up shooter???!!?!?!?!?!????.... Anyway..since those 3 things won't likely happen anytime soon we need some player that does not need the ball and can knock down some 3 points and jumpers. Take clarkson and Randle out and put swaggy or Lou in and put bass in for randle. This line up could benefit us.... and stop playing kelly and play black.
I don't think Mark Jackson would be a good fit at all if you want X's and O's. I remember Warriors fans saying that the major differene between Kerr of last year and Mark and year before that was under Kerr there was more ball movement stressed with a motion type offense. Things got very stagnant with Mark. And that's the last thing we want to continue to see because the offense is stagnant with Byron right now.
