    I haven't liked what I've seen of either Brown, honestly, but at least Anthony is a 3 who we could develop. I don't see Jabari getting much better than he is.

    Based on what we've seen from each guy so far in the preseason, it would be a crime for Jabari to make it over Metta.

    Good luck to him, I'm sure some teams out there could use a scorer like him. And if not, I hope he comes back to the D-Fenders and plays with Upshaw, and Nance and A Brown when they're down there.

    Talented, but as said many times before, redundant with the likes of Swaggy P and Sweet Lou off the bench.

    I also thought he was a bit undersized for the game he played. He wasn't a particularly great shooter, which Lou makes up for being a smaller SG, and he wasn't explosive enough to attack the basket with efficiency.

    I wonder how Clarkson feels about all this. aren't they tight? must be awkward to have mwp kept essentially because he's more popular in the locker room than your friend.

    I like him but this is a good decision. He was one of the brighter spots from last season but he's redundant and a bit undersized. I think an NBA team will pick him up, he's good enough for a bench spot.

    JaBari has some skill - some solid skill, honestly - as a scorer, but there are lots of cheap, young wings who have similar skills.

    Probably got a pretty nice contract from someone. He's only going to get better next several years. Could be an international stud or make his way back to NBA fairly quickly. Jabari can score the ball.

    But get Meta in the damn game once in awhile. 10 minutes? Not like these guys can't use a tough bad a** veteran out there to show them what's what in key situations. Take the minutes from Kelly when match ups make sense.

    ^^ MWP should definitely play - I agree with you LTLakerfan. 10 minutes a game would be perfect. I'd hope he'd get those minutes from Kobe actually. Kobe's hurting more than helping at this moment and I'd rather have a real 3 out there on defense for some short help minutes.

    Remember when Ryan Kelly beat this guy out to make the team?... Oi. I feel like a doofus for making that call.

    Ryan Kelly with maybe the greatest pre-season in the last few years found a way to keep himself here over a better basketball player.
