He's right. That's why Sacre is on the team: he is big and strong, does not get much playing time, so he should carry bags. Instead of our 30+ year old PG with hamstring problems (who happens to be crucial for our bench success). This sort of makes me mad. Sacre is young, healthy and probably has over 60 lbs on Huertas right now. I mean, WTF?

:D I think you guys are overreacting from one picture. Also screw him, he's new. Make him do the menial labor! It's a team building exercise!

I'm not that concerned about it. If anything I think it's funny because the look on his face says the same thing you're all saying: "I'm a 32 year old grown *** man! This is bull****!"

That's what I'm thinking. I'm not too concerned with it unless he gets hurt carrying bags.

Otherwise, welcome to the NBA rook lol

Good news bad news department. A private contractor located the "doll" up I-5 a hundred miles....in Bakersfield (go figure) .... and took it out with a drone strike. Unfortunately it also took out Bakersfield. :SadPau2:

    What's the bad news?

In an unrelated note, didn't Nash get hurt carrying some of his own bags?

As long as he doesn't pull a Rudy "Moody" Fernandez on us...I'm OK with it. I'm sure all the other newbies are being hazed. Fetching donuts, newspapers...washing Scott's car so on and so forth.

Byron might get hurt with those. They look pretty hard.

Speaking of that ..... (kinda) .... when are the women coming back? All like 2 or 3 of them used to grace Lakers Discussion, that we had to make this a kinder, gentler place for? :Magic Brows: No interest in sweating the off season moves with us? Only when the season starts? Never?? Sirron is it your fault....what did you do we don't know about?

I PM'd them all daily reminding them I was single, available, and did the big ball dance out of necessity, not just for celebrations.

They never responded, so I can't tell you.

Huertas was a great signing. He is a great playmaker and Russell can learn a lot from him.

Agree. Despite his limitations, he'll be a good backup PG. Also, we won't be playing against the GS Warriors every night.

Absolutely. The Warriors just make all of our issues especially with defense so glaring.

Teams will defend Huertas differently, though; however, most teams don't have the quality perimeter defenders that are very athletic, strong, high IQ guys, that GS employs and can throw at you...it's impressive. Nevertheless, teams in the West are absolutely loaded and are much smarter at breaking down film on an individual player and taking away his strengths.

I still think he'll have a solid year, though.
