Well, he struggled in the first quarter but I thought he played great in the fourth. Meanwhile, yeah, Huertas was awesome!! He's just a great addition to the team.

Huertas running with the 2nd unit will be a blessing to this team. It will give Lou and Swaggy catch and shoot's instead of ISO-ball. Also the pick and pop game with Kelly is beautiful. Court vision and passing ability is Nash like, and he has the Dazzle element as well.

I always wanted to play (even for one game) with guys like Huertas/Nash. If i was 7' and had a PG like that... i could make a roster on every NBA team ;)

He has a few years left. I think we should ensure he retires as a Laker.

i dont know how teams have slept on this guy, or why he never tried coming over.

I couldn't imagine the Spurs snagging him up with that super team of theirs.

I did not expect Huertas to have this kind of vision & flair... It's a bit of a game changer. Sometimes European vets fail to carve out a role in the NBA, I see him impacting the game already. Very interesting player for this season. He's got loads of experience and seems ready to contribute now... can't wait for the season to start.

Happy to have him as a backup PG on this team.

He makes our second unit better. Hell he made Sacre look good. I'm confident with the likes of Swaggy, Lou, a reborn R. Kelly, Huerta will make our bench one of the best in the league.

At least the 2nd unit should be fun to watch with him running the show

Has Swaggy yet to miss a shot after being passed to by Huertas? Seemingly not.

He's been able to consistently get the ball to Young while he's open and can catch and shoot. Almost nobody else has done that, most of Young's shots have been contested, or tough fall-always off spin moves and fancy dribbles, him having to create his own shot.

Court vision is something innate that can't be taught. Huertas has mucho of it.

He's impressed me...despite his weak perimeter shot. His leadership and knowledge of the game is very evident.Oh how far we've come since the days of Marshall, Blake, Price and Lin.

Marcelo is a stud. WOW was I impressed.

Dare I say make Russell earn his keep on the bench? Marcelo can make some plays - that's for sure.

And it's not like Russell was a defensive stopper.

i still like russell with the starters, though that is a lot of inexperienced players on the floor at once.

Russell has been better defensively than Clarkson this preseason defensively.

I'd roll with it. They have to get used to playing with each other at some point. Now, is the time. Plus, when Scott says, 'he's the leader of our 2nd unit,' that kind of tells you his thinking...
