I like having a guy like Lou Williams on the Lakers because he is going to draw a bunch of fouls with the way the game is officiated today. That being said, I despise his style of offense, throwing himself into the defender who's moving his feet well, anticipating the whistle and throwing up a prayer at the basket. It's harden-esque. That's crap basketball, IMO. But since the league seems to reward those antics...can't fault him for taking advantage.

Without free throws helping his overall impact, he's just another 40% gunner. He turned it into 6th man of the year.

    That's pretty brilliant.

yeah, it's filthy, but at least we have a guy getting away with it on our side. I still wonder whether kobe would have averaged 50 per if the refs loved him like they do harden.

I'm watching the Warriors play the Rockets right now. They're a well-oiled machine, it's a thing of beauty to watch. WMC, they are going to destroy us.

Golden State is gonna destroy a lot of teams.

People keep talking about them being lucky, but really in the regular season they were one of the best teams of all time on both ends of the floor.

Not their fault teams got injured. With Curry and Thompson's continued development and the fact they brought almost everyone back I still think they're the championship favorite.

Kerr isn't even there.....Luke is. I realize they have a year in the system and several years together, but it's awesome to see the "well oiled machine" type of basketball. It's been awhile for us unfortunately.

They weren't lucky, you play who is in front of you. If they were lucky LeBron is lucky because every year he gets to play in the worst eastern conference of all time. Sure, they were fortunate to not play a full strength Cavs team, but that has happened in the Finals many times. The Lakers had major injuries in the Finals in the 80's that probably cost us a couple finals too, nobody takes anything away from the teams that beat them.

As TNT pointed out, the Warriors went through the team of every member of the All NBA First Team (Davis, Harden, Gasol, LeBron), that's impressive enough to me. Watching them now reminds me of the Spurs of the last decade, the way they play defense and move the ball around so fast.

When I heard about Doc's quote about the Warriors first thing I thought was this is Doc. Always making excuses. When the Lakers beat Boston in 2010 he said "they still haven't beat our starting five." Couldn't even give us credit for beating the C Bags at their own game. Acting like Kendrick Perkins is Wilt or Kareem.

I would not watch a single Lakers game if Doc was our coach. REAL TALK.

Well, it's obvious that we needed the practice time, but I still don't like so many days in between games. I guess I'm in midseason form as a fan already LOL.

We need the rest days, we have a couple guys nursing minor injuries. Sure they are still practicing my but they can keep things a little easy.

We play Warriors Saturday right? Prepare to get 50 dropped on us in the first quarter.

A question to those who have watched the game. I just finished the highlights and there was a sentence in the beginning of the game where Randle was clearly demanding the ball from Clarkson, who instead shot the three (and made it). It seemed like Randle was pretty upset and mad at Jordan at this moment. Were there more moments like that? I love the confidence, but it's too soon for Julius to be acting like he's Kobe

Ok, if you told me a month ago that the one pre-season game we'd win against another NBA team would be vs. the Warriors, I would not have believed you. Sure it only lasted three quarters, but we were up by 15 and had outplayed them for some time. Wow! Great stuff.

Also impressive debut for Huertas, continued good play from Kelly, some nice stuff from Nance, Upshaw, Swaggy, Ron and even Jabari Brown who I'd written off basically. Great win!
