What's wrong with Hibbert's knee? Too much running in practice? We're gonna get torn up by Cousins if he doesn't play. Even with him you aren't stopping Cousins, but without him, yikes.

Throw Sacre at Cousins. Is Huertas injured or is he still working on immigration papers?

Sacre on Cousins? That's a massacre. Sacre will be in foul trouble before he knows it. Either way, this training staff has a tendency of initially reporting things and saying things like 'it's not serious, he's 'day-to-day', and then you see guys for extended periods of time. Whatever, just make sure we have a healthy rotation by the start of the season...

I believe Huertas is being cautious with his hamstring. It's not serious, but he said why push it when that can turn it into something serious. And man, I do not want to see Sacre trying to guard Cousins, I'll have flashbacks to last season.

Sacre on Cousins is my plan for getting Sacre cut.

Whats up with Huertas...we have still to see him play. He is on my chopping list if he deoesn't play at all this pre-season.

I don't think he is going anywhere, he's the only true PG we have. I'm pretty sure the Lakers know what they have with him, he's like 31 years old, and they let him go through the whole immigration process, I think we are keeping him for sure. He hasn't played yet because he has a strained hamstring and they want to be careful with it, which also makes me think he's staying, or maybe the FO doesn't bother being so cautious.

Exactly. He's 100% making this team and they know what he's got so they're not worried about him getting on the floor really. It'd be nice if he could play the last few game though. Everyone else is still getting used to each other and even though he's a pass-first, true point guard it'd be nice if he got some time on the floor with the guys.

For what it's worth he's expected to play this weekend.

^ I really want to see Huertas in action, but . . . got to be patient. Meanwhile Bass played great last night I thought. He's just been a rock solid pick up. Nice move by Mitch.

Yeah if we break his not totally fixed hammy again we're semi-screwed, though we do have two good players who can very well run the point. And he's going to need to tax it big time trying to keep up with all the athletes at the 1 including 2nd string.

Oh..... and Brandon Bass is a beast in his own right! A physical stud. Did you see what he was doing and going to DO with that missed left handed JAM? Holy crap he was up high and that was a pretty explosive move. I could definitely see him handling some small ball 5, along with Tarik, or even Kelly at times if we're up against a "puny man" (no "g" word here ;) ) small ball lineup.

So it seems Lou Williams will not play today due to a strained groin.

Groin strains are tricky though. Nothing really you can do about them other than rest.
