So..I wonder if Luka knew the team was getting sold? You know..with how Walter was always, in constant contact with him and all that.(allegedly)

 

Honestly, I have no idea what this all means and doubt anyone who is chiming in too far in one direction or another. Its clear something is up with that fed investigation so Mark decided to make a couple of billion and get out of here. Crazy now, but I think when the dust settles on the investigation things will be a bit clearer. At least I hope.

As far as Iger and Kushner, I truly do not know. A lot of owners aren't exactly great people, so I guess we will see. Iger, for all his faults, does not strike me as bad as the guy running the Trailblazers but time will tell.

 

I don't think even Walter knew the team was getting sold until Sunday or whenever this kicked off.

It takes time to put together ownership groups and get that kind of capital together. I know the story is that they were already looking at a Vegas expansion team but going from that to buying the Lakers with no prior movement before like Sunday or Monday is really hard for me to believe.

 

Ironically..it looks like Walter might be in more hot water than Ballmer.

 

Right. Just no way he sells the team this quickly unless there was some bad stuff brewing IMO
