I don't really understand having all these young players, especially rookies. Why not sign some more veterans?
Guys you're assuming that those guys even want to come here. Don't underestimate Flip's influence on the veterans picking Minnesota.
Prince has ties to their coaching staff, same for Miller. Those ties are really coming on handy with trying to surround their young team with vets and leadership. You can thank Scott, his fear and ego for us having a s***ty coaching staff who has ties to the pizza place down the street and the dry cleaners. The McGee signing...'nother story.
Yeah I mean I don't think Scott ingratiates himself all that well usually with the lower tier guys. He's friendlier with the top level players, but they're more influenced by other forces than the lower tier guys. Although to be fair Bass cited his past experience with Byron as a reason he signed here.
Sat out a year 1/2 after a knee injury. Probably could've come back sooner but the 70centers had no interest in trying to win ball games last year (this year...any year really)
