They're not in the same class, but similar in redemption arc as players that are trying to resurrect their careers with us. Other players like Stanley Johnson, Dwight, Rui, Christian Wood, and Lonnie Walker come to mind. Of course, Kuminga is still young and holds more value than those players, but his reputation has taken a hit and is considered a gamble by many teams.

He won't for sure but that isn't the same thing as the adoration of a sports star.

I didn’t even touch on the fact that he didn’t want to come in as a sub in garbage time multiple times. That is a real red flag to me. I don’t care about your issues with the coach, that’s going against the team and your brothers.

Kuminga has an entitled ego for no reason. He asked for 150m, 5 year contract a few seasons ago, which was close to the max. He was a bench player… Watson showed more than Kuminga did this season and he is looking at 20-25m per.

I’ll support Kuminga if/when he gets here, but I’m always reminded of the scorpion and the frog parable, when someone shows you who they are, you should believe them. Kuminga is an empty scoring kind of guy, Ron Artest isn’t a good example to compare him too.

Why are the Lakers waiting on Kuminga to make a decision. Face the facts here, he is too expensive for a player that has proven very little. Push him to the side. I am also not seeing Thybulle as a Laker either. The bottom line is that for 2 years he is not available for many games, his body is just wearing out. I love the Williams signing, that is the type of player we should be adding, not Kuminga.

I propose making a trade with Minnesota for Josh Green and Rocco Zikarsky. #1- the Timberwolves like Vanderbilt and see him as their PF. More importantly Ant loves him and they are best friends. Offer Vandy & Knecht for Green & Ziharsky. We move off almost $17 million in salaries. Green is a better fit for the Lakers as a 3&D guy, and Rocco gives us a real backup to Kessler. They are similar in size @ 7'2, both are solid defenders, and both are just scratching the surface of their abilities because they are so young.

Green is much more moveable than Vandy if we don't want to keep him, and is on an expiring contract. The key is the Wolves love Vandy when virtually no one else does. What are we waiting for? They will fill their PF need sooner rather than later. Pelinka, get off the pot. Trade for a 3&D and a real backup center.

Kuminga, Moody, Poole, and Podziemski, and whoever else were supposed to become new Curry and Klay and continue dynasty for a few infinity years :D
But after fighting with Draymond and trade for Butler their dream was over .
at Lakers Kuminga is not going to be considered a star ,so it's perfect situation for him

She got to complete the game physically with no one taking Dort like dirty/cheap shots at her? Awesome!

I would say that Magic and Jordon were adored for quite awhile after they quit playing. Lebron will be too.

When JD Rockefeller famously was asked “how much is enough?” After he was far and away the richest man in the world, he responded,”Just a little bit more.”

They were likeable players and the endings weren't the same. LeBron has his followers for sure but his look at me me me need is deeper. Dang near everything he does is for attention like a little kid, watch me mom!

Lebron James will not be liked and regarded in the same category as Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson. And LeBron doesn’t realize it because he still does it.

Silver let it slip when he said we are trying to release the schedule. Basically saying we know where he’s going. He told us because we made the schedule. He knows. He just doesn’t want to say and now we need to release this schedule.
