California Classic is a week before Vegas but that schedule isn't out yet. Roster isn't finalized, but below let's get to know who we know will be there.
Peter Suder, aka Austin Jr One of our two way signings. Offensively, eerie how similar his body movement resembles Austin
AK Okereke He got our other two way contract. Based on the exhibit 10 guys we added, i think he's going to have some competition for that spot. Interesting body type and some stiff, upright movement offensively. You'll see these guys every couple years in summer league, they usually don't make it past the G League though.
Jacari White Odd release for a shooter Robert McCray Glad to have a point guard and table setter on the summer league team. Years we've forgotten that player type has resulted in some really ugly play... like when we asked DK to play point.
And then there's this guy... Robbie Avila What in the 90s Disney movie is this? If you squint, you can see a ceiling of a 39 year old Sam Perkins with the Pacers
All joking aside, he can pass and shoot, but this HAS to be a Rambii pick, right? There’s a Joker body type that just looks out of the ordinary in the NBA, but this is on another level.
I haven't seen enough of these guys to make any predictions but it should be an interesting, fun summer.
