I dunno, seems kinda high if he’s a backup.

he’d be the starter, imo. It’s low for that, but he’s not the picture of health or consistency.

that said, he’s strong, a lob threat, and defends. Would be a great pickup that price.

Man I don’t know if that’s the guy I’d want starting. The health is bad as you mentioned, and he shoots 40% from the free throw line, they were intentionally sending him there in the finals. I guess beggars can’t be choosers though.

nobody likes my take on this, but I think jj would prefer not to play centers in crunch time (or at all, lol—despite some of his public comments).

Go to Walter’s thread and read what Buzzie Bavasi said about Mark even after being fired from his job, that Mark was the most intensely competitive owner he had ever seen. You literally are a fool for not spending the time to read that LONG article I posted and making uninformed proclamations about the new owner while knowing zip about his mindset and ultra ultra competitiveness. And the state of the Lakers now that HE is in charge. It’s not all that far back. Seriously DO it!!

He can be the starter for 30-40 games a year and 24 mins before he is out for the year.

    Good backup, but broken body.

My hope is with Claxton going for nothing and us not grabbing a center at 25, we must have something in the works.

I think I'm going to end up disappointed, but copium is OK once in a while.

This one is interesting. My first thought was, what? who? why? Just watched a highlight reel and from the whopping 2 minutes I've seen he's got decent size, pretty good off the dribble with a stepback and good court vision to go along with the shooting. One scouting report used the words "defensive versatility."

Now, we'll see how much of that translates from the MAC to the NBA, but it's a two-way so I'll keep an open mind.

I hate Turner's contract and his numbers sharply declined after the 24-25 season, but that could have been the fit, scheme, etc. He has a little over $83 million left on his deal with his year being a PO.

One of my last resort option if I'm Rob, but it might be an option.

In any deal with Turner, I'm going to try to get off of Jared's contract since we're taking on all that money. IMO.

Free Myles Turner mane! My boy was a perfect fit for AD, but not really the move for this squad IMO. He doesn't hit the boards hard enough consistently. I'm 80% convinced that Gafford is our target, but Rob comes out of left field frequently.

So I wouldn't be totally shocked, if he circled back to gasp*...Mark Williams! Lol..JJ was pretty much gushing all over Williams earlier this season. Robinson seems like a secondary option..maybe Diabte if LeMelo gets moved. Can't say it's impossible to still go after Claxton.

I just can't see the path to Duren or Kessler.

does sucess in one sport ownership in one sport lead to success in another?
Kroenke seems a bit cheap with Nuggest but he's done well across 3 sports!.
Fenway sports group did well with red sox and liverpool (red sox seem to be drifting aimlessly)

OTOH Glazers have been panned however with Manchester United
