    It’s hard for me to get excited about any rookie right now when just like always, he won’t play and we need to try to win now. That said, he seems to have the physical tools, can shoot, and if he can defend at all that would help. Being able to do this kind of thing at 6’5 is nice

    I read that he averaged those stats in his “lone season at Baylor” and assumed he was a one and done, didn’t realize he played at Tennessee before that for 2 years and was teammates with Knecht. So he’s a 3 year college player, he may actually be able to contribute sooner, that does change things a bit in my mind.

    I'm getting Knecht flashbacks.. "Steal of the draft", drafting a top10 prospect in mid-late 1st round. Guard that can dunk and jump. Questions about BBIQ...

    Hope he comes good but I'm really disappointed we couldn't find a trade for this pick.

    Memphis and Knicks also traded down a couple times so pretty much any team could have got him and none did it.

    I'm with you in being disappointed we didn't trade the pick. But when I saw the Giannis and Claxton trades go through and we didn't get involved, I figured it would be really difficult to trade for anything today.

    I honestly think Rob made a play for Ware and Bucks decided not to deal him.

    Athletically, this kid is top tier and he can shoot. Knecht was a good athlete in the way Danny Green was. Carr is a good athlete in the way DJJ is, it's a different level. You can't ask for much more than that. We just have to develop him on the defensive end and you got something. Probably just not for 2 years though.

    I hope the IQ stuff is overblown. If it isn't, this is another wasted pick, no matter the amount of athleticism and "potential" this guy has.
