Well, Lakers could do the version without Reaves, but I was just thinking it wouldn't make much sense to have both of them.

The Knicks shooting has just been phenomenal these playoffs. They’re at 47% from 3 at the break.

KAT, Bridges and Shamet are 0/4. While Hart is 3/4 and OG & Brunson are 4/6.

They’ve just got shooting all over the floor and it’s the great equalizer.

No one wanted to talk about Game 3?

Fun back and both. Spurs finally attacked the rim and it paid dividends in the first. Knicks just exploded with their offense and the role players just scored in bunches. Feels like they are the team of destiny when you see Clarkson making crazy shots. OG Anunoby has been a big problem for the Spurs with the size; just don't have someone that matches up well with him.

Spurs then went back to attack mode, got Brunson in foul trouble. That allowed the Spurs defense to lock up and the Knicks luck finally ran out. Wemby was just great today. He was dirty on Brunson, but he was great attacking the rim and reducing those bad perimeter shots. Castle/Harper lived up to their potential and played like they did vs. OKC. KAT did his usual disappearing act that makes him frustrating and his defense inside was soft like Charmin.

I don't think the difference between the teams is that big, it comes down to execution and not making mistakes.

Mitch Johnson you truly are a d******. You have a guy who’s “7,6” all you had to do was give him the ball at the basket. But for some reason you thought it was a good idea to have him at the top of the key at 3.

Castle is key. Fox is just unplayable. Definitely doesn’t fit with that team.

I think it was the Donald Trump jinx that snapped the Knicks winning streak.

If Fox would’ve took that shot in game 2. The Spurs would’ve been up 2-1.

It amazes me how easy things are. Basketball is a simple sport when you simplify it. Wemby lobs at the basket. Fox throw it up he’ll get it. Easy buckets. Scoring at the rims. No jump shots. All they gotta do is that and they win. When we had Shaq and we had to win. Just throw the ball to the big fella. Kobe jump shots freed up Shaqs alley oop.

Potential offseason scenario: get Suggs, Claxton & some cheap help.

    Luka (49.5) / Kennard (?) / Bronny (2.3)
    Reaves (20.9) / Smart (?) / Knecht (4.2)
    x / Jake (6) / Adou (2.1)
    Lebron (?) / Rui (?) / Vando (12.4)
    Ayton (8.1) / Hayes (?)

    1) Retain our Free Agents: Sign Hayes to 4.5m, Sign Rui to 15m, Sign Lerbon to 20m and attempt to bring back Smart for 6.5m (his max non bird rights raise)

    2) S&T Kennard (12.5m), Vando (12.4m) and a first for Suggs (32.4m)

    3) Trade Ayton, Knecht, Jake (18.3m) and a first for Claxton (23.3m)

    4) Split the MLE between Spencer Jones (6.1m) & Thybulle (8m)

    5) Sign Kleber to the vet min and an undrafted rookie as the 6th guard

    6) Sign Reaves to a 5 year 205m contract (starting at 35m)

    Luka (49.5) / Smart (6.5) / Bronny (2.3)
    Reaves (35) / Thybulle (8) / Development Rookie (2.1)
    Suggs (32.4) / Spence (6.1) / Adou (2.1)
    Lebron (20) / Rui (15)
    Claxton (23.3) / Hayes (4.5) / Kleber (2.5)

First of all, yes we don't have a bruising center. But we do have two great rim runners. Claxton in particular is a good defender that can switch 1-5 and is perfect for JJ's defensive principles.

Secondly, the bench doesn't have a lot of offensive firepower. Thybulle and Spence shot around 40% from 3 last year, while Rui is a great finisher from across the floor.

Where this team shines is we'd be a heck of a lot better defensively. Suggs, Spence, Thybulle and Smart are a terrifying perimeter defensive group, and when you add Lebron and Luka into that who are super intelligent - we could be a top 5 defense even with Rui & Reaves.

If Suggs gets back to a 36%+ 3pt shooter, we are golden. Personally it's still my favourite team.

refs were atrocious in this one. so many calls went the spurs way. wemby should've been tossed for that hard foul on brunson, or at the very least given a flagrant
