You make a lot of sense but Shai is an elite player. His supporting cast let him down.

I guess I should have said it’s over for now. Plus they have to start paying their players now, the huge extensions kick in, they won’t be able to keep them all, there’s no guarantee of replacing them just as well in the draft. They CAN trade for other players, but I still feel like that ends THIS iteration of the team, these particular players I can’t stand.

I didn't say he wasn't elite, however the tier 2 MVPs get you in the conversation with is a different level we are talking about.

the nut glazing about his stats when his numbers have gone down each of these last 2 playoff runs annoys the s*** out of me. He was getting Jordan comparisons for heavens sake - just like Nash got a ton of flack for his 2 MVPS, SGA is not at the caliber of these guys where eras are defined by. I'm sorry I wasn't watching Lebron vs Curry here.

I have nothing but disdain for the GOAT of the flop. Where did the talk of that 20 point streak go?

Chet and draft picks and Wallace for Gianiss.

OKC looks like the favorites to land the superstar.

Yeah kind of Like Curry when LeBron beat him in Game 7. Shai is on that tier. His legacy definitely took a hit with this series.

That’s putting a lot of stock in the value of second rounders. Are you doing that just to cut salary?

OKC has problems. They have a Wemby problem. He’s gonna keep winning. And he ain’t going anywhere. And they gotta start paying thier guys. They can’t keep paying guys. Every year they don’t win that’s another year they gotta pay somebody.

    Caruso

    Wallace

    Dort

    Williams

    Mitchell

    McLain.

Rested veterans who are playing out of their minds against this young team who just went seven games. You are probably right. Hopefully NY didn’t lose their rhythm.

OKC lose, so good to see the sniggering and smiles wiped off their face on the bench. That bothered me last series.

But it's embarrassing how well OKC is situated to continue to compete into the future right now. SGA is who they build around, but they should consider trading Chet, Isiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins and 3 firsts for Giannis. They'll have to let Dort and Kenrich expire.

    SGA (40.8) / Wallace (7.4) / Topic (5.4)
    Ajay (2.9) / McCain (4.4)
    Williams (41.3) / Caruso (19.6) / Vet Min (2.5)
    Giannis (58.5) / Draft Pick (6) / Vet Min (2.5)
    Hart (20) / Williams (7.8) / Sorber (4.9)

That's a 224m roster. The following year they need to get rid of Caruso, which is probably a good time to cut ties with him. Already you can see them losing depth in Isaiah Joe & Dort who are rotation players and Wiggins and Kenrich who are deep bench guys. Hopefully Topic, Sorber and the new draft picks don't turn out to be great role players or the tom-foolery continues.

I guess I just don’t like the idea of giving away our first rounder just to get off of those contracts

Spurs will beat the Knicks. They will put Towns and Brunson in a pick and roll with Fox and Wemby and Harper Wemby.

San Antonio can cook Brunson with Fox Castle and Vassell and Harper.

And Wemby will destroy Towns. Robinson with one hand broken hand he can’t contain Wemby.

    Spurs 4-1.

Just to be a little fair, he was going against Wemby, who is going to do that to a lot of guys in the coming years. He certainly dominated Chet.

Wemby with 5 fouls was so scary here:

If kobe was alive, he'd say Chet was soft like charmin.

    :Noddingyes:

No wonder Wemby says there's "no comparison".
