A silly rule a player jumps in the air and the offensive player leans in. It works every time. A fix allow the defender to jump and land as long as he is coming back down the same spot. Why because i jumped a player can invade my space? Want another. A player not in shooting motion swings his arm into my extended arm playing defense he is rewarded? In the acting case if two players collide it can be offensive or defensive if you push in can lean and fall it will look like you pushed. Its using your momentum. Are using as much brain as Muscle. ex Austin Reaves. Run in front a player stop anticipate contact feel contact shoot fall to the ground. It Works so why not do it?

What i am saying is players do little tricks all the time. Even something as little as trash talking. hitting, pinching. If a player drive to the basket you put two feet down and any little contact fall backwards, Hook arm fall pull the player with you, hit a player when ref not looking he catches the retaliation, etc So yes from the bad boy days a good defensive team played physical and dirty. Do you think a Dramond Green would fit right in? A player with similar size Rui wont be as effective on D as Green? Wont green be called dirty a pest or cheater? GSW formed one of the best Team ever. Now replace Green with Rui same results? Rui is the better efficient shooter. I get that stars like all players dont get every call. But my point is if you lead the league it means your getting rewarded the most. As a foul can be called on just about almost every play.

I would resign Austin and sign and trade for Watson.

Austin is a great player. Watson is a great player.

Grimes and Ayo are good players. It’s gonna be hard to acquire Duran. With those pieces it should be able to off set Ayton and maybe you can sign Mitchell Robinson or Robert Williams to balance it out. Or the kid you draft from North Carolina University. or even a Zach Collins.

The NBA and refs has to clean up soft calls. I get the whole trying to protect a player and star calls from the business end but thats way to soft. And this is where the NBA over corrected from the brutal game of the 80s.

 

It’s real simple logic why Portland could be apart of the trade. They own the Bucks draft picks, so if the Bucks want to bottom out and find a new generational talent, they need control of their picks back.

Any team you trade Giannis too is going to be a playoff team, so the draft picks they send won’t be great. But getting your own back is super critical.

Also I don’t think Giannis will go to Portland. I think he may go to the C Bags and Portland will get Brown. The reason Grant is going out is because they need to match salaries. Don’t forget both that other crucial piece, the trade actually has to work money wise.

I’d fire Kenny Atkinson on the spot. That team completely quit on him. That game 1 debacle crushed the Cavs the whole series. They never got over that game1.

and then all of a sudden they stopped calling them. More Shai is different because he’s a faller. He will fall and then fall into your space his initiating of the contact is falling forward he shoots then falls. So it’s harder for the refs to ref. They’ll look at it and have a change during the season. The refs have not called it as much for him against the Spurs.
