The Knicks have the proper 3-D guys to protect Brunson. They also have Towns who brings the center out with his ability to shoot.

they have two of the best 3-D guys in Hart OG and Bridges.

yall stop saying how we can get Hart. As I said New York is not messing with that team and core for Gianiss. They did it before with Melo ain’t gonna happen again.

honestly Our Gianiss deal might be the best deal where are the suitors outside of Miami???

We gotta develop Thiero keep drafting some 3-D guys and hope Peyton Watson comes or we get Cam Johnson or sign a Toni Eason.

I even floated trading back for AD. If we could make it happen it would be gold. He would be perfect how this team is structured with Luka. See you need to look at stuff like that.

Washington already has a Center power forward do they need AD??? I don’t know what it takes 2 2030’s or 1. But this looks enticing.

    Luka
    Reaves
    Smart
    Lebron
    AD

They're also only really playing 8 deep. It'll be interesting to see if they have anything for OKC or SAS in the finals. If they make it competitive then there is every chance that we could have been a serious threat with a healthy Luka.

If depth kills them again, we have an answer on how much of a bench we need.

Have to give props to Mike Brown, he has them playing excellent ball at the right moment. KAT being a point center has been a great move.

Aside from AD not being healthy. The bigger issue is how do you match salaries? You'd have to operate under the cap and absorb a lot of his salary.

    Luka (49.5) / Smart / Bronny (2.3)
    Reaves (20.9) /
    Vet Min (2.5) / Adou (2.1) / Jake (6)
    Lebron (20) / Vando (12.4)
    AD (58) / Hayes (4)

That's 180m so even that doesn't work since the cap is 165, you'd have to let Lebron walk. We just have to leave AD in the past, unless he accepts a buyout - which isn't likely given he has 120 million reasons not too.

The Knicks are the best matchups for Knicks vs OKC.

    why 3-D.

Hart OG Bridges they have a shot maker Brunson.

They have an Active Center who will bring Holmgren out Towns.

they have the defensive Center Robinson

    Bench Clarkson Shumpret

They got wings. They got more wings then wing stop. The Knicks have the team.

What I will say is Mike Brown is using Jalen Brunson how he used Dearen Fox in Sacramento.

Mike Brown is using Towns how he used Sabonis in Sacramento the point forward. High post. Ball movement.

his offense is brilliant. Sacramento are idiots for letting him go. He’s a brilliant basketball mind.

Dolan was smart to bring him in. This offense looks completely different from Thibedou.

if you watch basketball you know Knicks OKC will be extremely close.

As for the Lakers all I’m saying is you lost everything when you lost AD and Christie how they were building there. Team. They lost their identity.

and they’ve still been looking for it.

now you have a 1st team All NBA player congrats Luka.

this is a command. This is an order. The Lakers better put the right players around him this off season.

us Lakers in here won’t be generous. We don’t want any Jake Laravias.

get real players that compliment what this hall of fame player does. Do not waste what he does.

We’d be saying the same thing about Kobe.

I thought we built up an interesting culture to the team this year - we were really damn clutch. It’s hard to stop a single high end play maker in the NBA and we had three. We seemed to just out execute teams in the clutch.

Defensively I thought we improved a lot through the year and we became a good shooting team when Luka’s shot came around. If we keep the team, we need to lean more into shooting in my opinion. Being a potent 3pt team will open up our paint scoring from lobs and cuts. If next year we were:

    Luka - 9 attempts 37%
    Reaves - 7 attempts 37%
    Lebron - 5 attempts 38%
    Kennard - 5 attempts 42%
    Rui - 5 attempts 42%
    3&D SF - 5 attempts 38%

That’s a lot of shooting - 14 made threes or about 42 points. If we could get a high flying lob threat and utilise cuts from our wings, we would be a potent offense from Luka, Reaves and Lebron.

We just need to add a 3&D wing (Thybulle, Spencer Jones or Ellis) and a lob threat & rim protecting center - harder to do.

This game 4...Spurs came out way better defensively. Much less open shots than game 3.

OKC shooting has finally trended the opposite way. That vaunted OKC bench of Caruso, Jaylin Williams, Mccain struggling. Looks like not having JDub is hurting since they lack a great ball handler other than SGA.

Wemby and that half court shot, he's responding well after that Game 3. Career high 22 points in the first half.

I think he still he has so much untapped potential, his offense is so raw at times with the perimeter skills. Not a fan of him jacking up 3's like KD at this point. But then you see those ridiculous put backs and how he can be so far from the rim and still dunk, that stuff isn't human.

OKC could definitely be in trouble without Jdub and Mitchell. They are lacking a scoring punch with SA able to zero in on SGA.

Marinate on this due to today’s all NBA third team making Jalen Duran is now eligible for a 5 year super max 287 million dollar contract. You can’t make this up. Now Detroit has to pay him. You got Cunningham you’re in second apron territory. And Thompsons gonna need an extension soon.

we might be in play. This can get interesting. What you gonna do Detroit????

Now I see why yall want that Lob Threat with players like Luka and Jalen and Shai the defense is going to shift to you. You need that lob threat to throw it to when they collapse on you. It gets you an easy score or 3 pointer.

Pelinka has got to get that lob threat.
