Could that be a suspension? The law is the Law Artest got suspended for that years ago against Harden in the playoffs against OKC.

How exactly does gifting Los Spurs Harper fall in-line with the NBA’s “parity” theme when they were already stacked with:
    Wemby
    Castle
    Fox
    Vessel
    Absolute horse$hit!!!!

They won’t suspend him because he’s the NBA poster child.

It’s disgusting. Sacramento traded them Fox and never got either Castle or Vassell.

what the f***? Like the actual f***? I was thinking the same thing When I saw Vassell launching 3’s what was the NBA thinking? They thought we were stupid???

Showtime, come on man… we aren’t sending two firsts for Gafford. That’s nuts.

Dylan Harper is so good. He looks like Kobe. He looks like Shai. So polished. It’s a shame the NBA allowed San Antonio to get him.

It's going to be tough rode to hoe - the issue since the Brick trade is the same. Lakers have enough talent for a decent floor but they have to add a few more roof raisers without losing any of the pillars of the foundation. They don't have excess assets liek the Spurs had to just pluck a guy like Fox (the f***ing clutch player of the year) to add.

I think stuff like taking care of Kobe, Lebron, even KCP, etc really does matter here - it's a way to convince guys to take a chance on the Lakers. The advantage is muted in the modern CBA but Lakers may have an opputurnity as it's just not going to the Lakers here who are going to take a long hard look at OKC and the Spurs. If teams are smart several of the mid levels playoff teams may just decide to blow it up (Cleveland, Toronto, even Denver, ORL, houston etc). You target guys like Ayo, Shannon, Barrett, Suggs, Black, Quickley, Marshall. Get ballers - guys who are just good on both side on the balls but who may not be full defensive stoppers, or shooters.

This is mind boggling. Clippers go from Bradley Beal James Harden Kawhi Leonard Brook Lopez

To Darius Garland Benedict Mathurian and a top 5 pick. That is nuts.

they completely went to Youth Movement. Kevin Pritchard Indiana Pacers bailed them out.

They had no picks with a team over the hill. NBA no man’s land. I thought for sure they’d have to do a huge overhaul lucky to get to the rebuild with young talent.

He looks more like Shai to me than Kobe. He doesn’t have the other worldly hops and ability to dunk on everyone that Kobe had.
That being said, he’s surely going to be an All Star for many years.

Zubac is good. But he ain’t Anthony Davis. He ain’t Wemby. He ain’t Jokic.

totally agree. No athleticsm like Kobe. Shai doesn’t either. But I made the comparison with Shai and Kobe also. Just his touch around the rim. His feel for the game. His ballhandling. And post play. His ability to shoot. It’s year two and he’s already better than Castle.

They should go a full rebuild. Trade Kawhi, DJJ and Dunn for draft picks. Try to swing a deal with OKC to get next years swap back. Maybe help OKC with a salary dump into their cap space for the swap back.

If they could tank and get another top 5 pick. They’d effectively rebuild in under 2 years.

I agree. Does Ballmer have the balls to endure it. See I see Ego. Does he let his Ego get in the way. He’s a basketball idiot. The complete opposite of Buss.

I see him trading that pick for Gianiss. The top 5 pick. And thinking he has a shot at Jokic. or Murray. Complete NBA ignorance.

I actually think the spurs should go all in. There front office has a generational big man, they’ve got a duty to compete right away. No one knows how long he can stay healthy for.

They’ve got their guards in Castle and Harper and they have their bigs in Wemby and Kornet. They even have some bench wings. They should trade the rest plus the picks for Giannis. Try to sign Rui with the MLE.

    Castle
    Harper
    Rui
    Giannis
    Wemby

    Good luck.

Keyton Wagler is kind of a baby Curry. Light can shoot the s*** outa the ball. Can play more off ball.

Acokoff more of a Lillard. Will have the ball in his hands. He will score at will. And a good defender. Big guard. Will be overlooked but I think he’s the best scoring guard in the draft. After Peterson. I’d take him over Wilson won’t go before Wilson. But Ackoff just scores in bunches look at his stats point total in the tournament.
