Because when it matters most, Allen shrinks in the playoffs while Ayton plays better. Allen just scored 2 points and had 3 rebounds in game 1 - guy had more fouls.

Also where does this concept that Ayton can’t play defense come from? Guys been fantastic these playoffs as a switchable defender and in interior rim defense. We don’t beat the rockets without him.

The dude I saw tonight. That was a true lottery Wemby is one of one. He’s an alien. I see no aliens in this draft.

There’s nice players in this draft. But no franchise changers.

 

I’ve been saying for a while that I think the Spurs win it all this year and Wemby is a top 10 player of all time - all he needs to do is stay healthy. Guys got goat potential, I’ve never seen anything like him defensively. Then you add the offensive side and his killer mentality, he is a problem.

 

If Barnes got available I would absolutely trade AR for him. But don't see it happening. Sign me up if it does

Jalen Johnson is another one. But until that type of guys get available we roll with AR and try to boost the defense around it.

If we had 3 elite defenders completing the lineup we would be a top contender. We only have 1 now. We have to get to 2 next year at the very least.

Ayton has been great but if we keep LeBron, I think just switching to Gafford would work better. Someone with that skill set that deters touches at the paint because our perimeter players won't stop them enough

i hope orlando hates suggs as much as lane and others do.

sucks that we don't quite have enough salary (think we're like a million off) to make this happen while operating over the cap, as that would be awesome.

vando/jake/knecht is about 22.5 and i think we need closer to 25 to salary match suggs. would give orlando some immediate salary relief and a lot more (that they'll need if they want to pay anthony black) later.

harder to do while operating under the cap, though not impossible.

 

Cooper Flagg is pretty damn nice tho. Why do we want Suggs again? I mean what big difference, would he have made against Houston or OKC?

Orlando would have beaten Detroit if they had Franz, instead of Suggs.
