This team needs depth but you need the proper fit to what this team does and these players do.

Length Front court athleticism backcourt athleticism. Defense. Maybe even a KrisS Dunn.

And this team has to figure out how to keep Luka Doncic healthy and fresh. I don’t know if it contributed to his hamstring but he went so hard in that stretch when he was scoring crazy. Dude you have nothing to prove.

He needs regular maintenance. And I think his minutes need to come down.

They have to keep him fresh for the postseason. No crazy playing for Slovania in Euro basketball.

You gotta do keep him good. He can stay in shape but chill on all the basketball. Strengthen that bench so he doesn’t have to play that much.

Austin Reaves Luka Doncic need to split up their starts sit one when the other gets a start load management. Playing the Grizzlies on a Thursday. He’s gotta sit. We gotta change this up. Cause his injuries change and happen a lot.

I do want to do some due diligence on Ja Morant. Everybody zigs I zag. If it’s cheap. I’d look to acquire him.

have a meeting with Luka. just see how it goes for a season. Kind of use him how Dallas used Nick Van Excel

    OKC used James Harden.

    Sacramento used Jim Jackson.

bring him off the bench maybe start him some nights sit Luka.

what would that look like getting a guy who can get 40 come in push the pase. And and give the team a different look.

just shake s*** up. Just throw some other random s*** at OKC Boston did that with Derrick White. Golden State had that with Shaun Livingston. Gotta do something dynamic out of the box.

The first part is simply that incredible deceleration is a big part of his game and adds to why it's so hard to defend him. Problem is he is a real big guy and even at his lean mean peak condition weight, that is a lot of stress on his hamstrings.

The 2nd part ... 100% agree. I know we want to keep Luka happy but in no way should he be playing summer ball after missing the entire playoffs with that injury and the negative effect it had on our potential performance. Honestly don't know how hard of a line the team might take here?

If only Ja could shoot, I could talk myself I to getting him for that "Kyrie" role. But it makes no sense with the way the team is currently constructed. It's clear as day taht it would be perceived in the Westbrook mold.

Yo I exactly think of the Kyrie thing. I see what you’re saying. But I like it because we need this. The team needs athleticism.

    Young length defense.

that’s how you gotta beat this OKC team. They look quicker than us.

We need a guy who’s got some junk to him who can just go at another team. Other than Luka you gotta have a guy who can defend and go at you on the other end.

I also bought up the scouting department. We need guys who can go find a Jaylin Williams that guy can go start for another team and average 18 and 10 he was a second round pick.

We need to find the brass that finds talent like that.

Another guy to build up the bench is James Harden. You need to get some bench guys who can shoot.

everybody goes whoa. But you need an effective guy who can come in and run the team when Luka is on the bench. I’m going L.A. Chargers you have to protect Justin Herbert. You gotta protect Luka Doncic. You need to get a guy who can run the team and let Luka sit some games. It is essential to keep him fresh.

he ain’t getting max money I don’t think big money.

Another off season addition will be the progression of Adou Thiero.

We all should be watching his summer league games. Hopefully we are seeing a 20 point a game scorer there.

And then next season he has to be a regular rotation player. We are going to lean on him on our bench. We need effective defense and scoring. Really see if he can be that 3-D guy for us wing defender.

Herb Jones can't shoot. Wouldn't want him. He can play defense but can't rebound or do anything else out there at an average level. Feels like his defense is also way overrated. Pelicans had a good season that year and generally they try to reward some of the players with an accolade just for the sake of being a good team.

Bobby Portis is way better and fits the Lakers. Giannis is a goner so Bucks will likely clean house.

Saw that Jonathan Isaac has a good possibility of getting waived by Orlando (guaranteed money thing) I would be interested at vet minimum

His vibe won't mesh with the Lakers I feel.

He's a staunch conservative and hangs around Republicans. Not exactly the best fit for him on the Lakers.

Agree wholeheartedly about Portis. Would much prefer Jones coming off the bench than LaRavia

It’s not complex at all.Im thinking about playoff matchups and with his defensive length and agility he’s a guy to use on Holmgren and Wemby.

If the Suns blow it up and decide to trade Booker. What do people think of Vando, Knecht + 2 firsts for Brooks? Take away your dislike of the guy. He provides high level defense and some shooting while being a hustle guy. It only adds 5m to our salary.

He would be another option in the trade scenario alongside Wiggins and Hart.
