I’ve been down on how JJ has treated Vando all season. I think that frustration spilled over from Vando in the OKC game. I’m glad they talked it out. With the Rockets length we are going need some Vando minutes on defense.

Let’s be honest about Rui and Vando. They can be extremely frustrating to a coach.Rui has the talent to be a borderline allstar but he doesn’t apply that talent to anything but shooting.Doesn’t battle on the boards or play defense the way he should and kind of floats around out there.
Vando can’t shoot and is a 6’8 guy who can’t finish around the rim. He’s only here to hustle, play defense and rebound and if he isn’t doing those 3 things he is a detriment

Yeah they have huge flaws but it's up to the coach to find a way to make it work. I wouldn't say any of them is uncoachable. They seem professional. Both things can happen at the same time

But hopefully we don't have to deal them anymore after the summer. Rui opens relevant cap space and Vando's salary can turn into a core rotation player, which he is not

I find Rui and Vando very frustrating - imagine the staff. Rui is still making rookie errors and Vando is one of the worst offensive players in the league.

As an example, if we had Wiggins instead of these two, we’d be a better team. That’s got to be really frustrating for the coaching staff who feel really close.

i guess...though he does have luka/AR/lebron, and no other coaches do.

and he does continue to play rui despite him being basically a complete anchor this year. like i'm pretty sure even vando has better impact by the numbers.
