Dalton's whole appeal as a draft prospect was that he was older and more ready to immediately contribute. Then his shooting fell off a cliff and he demonstrated that unless he's on a heater from three he actually can't contribute because he can't keep up with the speed/complexity of NBA basketball. I could still see things finally slowing down for him and him becoming a decent player in his late 20's, but it won't be with us.

I’m a glutton for punishment - Knecht to stay another year. When his shot is falling and he can use his athleticism he can score in bursts.
if it's that or basically dump him for a vet min (his salary is pretty close to that), then yes, i just keep him. several players we'd like to get looked dead in the water through two years in the nba.
Finish that rookie contract, if JJ says f*** it and not be the control freak he is, Knecht might help him and the team in these playoffs
DK couldn't have finished the regular season heading into the playoffs on a better note. He looked like his old self shooting again and just HAS to have improved in other needed areas at least a bit. Yeah with his size it sure would help if HE could help us out. But JJ has probably set his 9 man rotation in stone already never to be changed. Hopefully not.
