    not sure we can beat half the play-in teams with luka out or playing two weeks after a grade-2 hamstring tear.

    Without Luka, we're garbage, no need to fool ourselves. Season is over. I was the happiest since the bubble and got yanked off my cloud nine just like that. I feel almost as bad, as the day Kobe went down. Different injuries, different consequences, same kick in the balls :(
    Btw. This years team was much better than the Nash/Dwight Lakers

    Same for me. It’s so frustrating and seems like it should have been avoidable. He grabbed that hammy in the first five minutes of the game. Why didn’t Luka, JJ or the med staff take it more seriously? He should not have kept playing especially when we were already down 20 in the quarter and 30 at the half. That game was lost in that first minutes. Now it’s the season and post season.

    I don’t think it was. I had the game in OKC as a loss although I didn’t anticipate how bad it would be (blowout after 1 quarter). We were playing exceptionally well winning 15 of 17. Team chemistry was very high and we did this missing our best defender in Smart down the stretch. Not saying we were good enough to make the Finals but a little luck in matchups and we had a puncher’s chance to make the WCF.

    Sadly horrible luck instead and Luka is done for the year. Just awful.

    yeah, march was real. real enough that okc came out super juiced to play us in that game.

    we're nowhere near as bad as that looked, and okc isn't as good as that, either.

    Well we have:

    @DAL vs LAL
    LAL vs OKC
    @GSW vs LAL
    LAL vs PHX (B2B)
    LAL vs UTA

    I think with Luka and Reaves out for the season, we win today, lose against OKC, Warriors and Phoenix and finish 52-30.

    I think we probably play:

    Smart / Bronny
    Kennard / Bufkin?
    LaRavia / Vando
    Lebron / Rui
    Ayton / Hayes

    That’ll be a team high on energy and effort but low on talent.

    Reaves and Luka are both probably out 4-6 weeks. Can we win one playoff game with that team? What about a few playoff games?
