No NAW and losing the last shreds of Conley's career has also made the Wolves significantly worse then last year.

don't care who they face in round one. if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best

You make great sense. But we just showed we are a terrible matchup for Houston. We give them mismatches. So I would say Houston.

as good as Durant is I don’t want to see Edwards. I also think Edwards Randle Reid and Mcdaniels would give us some trouble. That’s just my 2 cents.

no excuses we should beat San Antonio 4-2.

    it’s gonna be tough.

but if we get to OKC we’ll have something for them. They gonna have to shorten that rotation. Everybody will pick the Thunder but we got a shot.

Man if it comes down to it. And we run into one of these young squads. I can throw Bronnie and Thiero out there for some athleticism young legs to throw teams off I wouldn’t be afraid to do it.

Yeah but they got Ayo to replace Walker and he's a better player IMO.

NAW has been better in Atl and Min then Ayo has been in Chicago and Min respectively

Yes… with a “but.” I am digging the hell out of this improved play and am as excited as anyone. But for the moment I don’t see us beating OKC or winning a championship. So unless and until SGA gets a season ending injury, I just want to see the Lakers go as deep as possible in the postseason, and that will probably come down to matchups. Do I want the Lakers to be the best? Absolutely. But I’d also love to get an exciting second round series with Wemby, and I presume that’s more likely.

No way. I think NAW is clearly the better player on both ends - bigger too.

Playoff basketball is a different animal. All you gotta do is get one game and then you never know.

    OKC is Shai Jalen

we got a bunch of guys who can get hot Luka and Lebron on a playoff run. It’s a different beast. Nobody’s giving us a shot but I like our chances. And when I look at Luka and Lebron I can definitely say that they’ve beaten OKC in a playoff series before.

11 games left. We are up 3 on Houston, Denver and Minny and we own all the tiebreakers. In other words our magic number is now 7 to lock in the 3 spot. I love it!!!

Oops just saw that Rockets squeaked a win v the Heat tonight so they are only 2 1/2 games back. Make that magic number 8.

I think in reality if we win 5 more, we've probably iced it. We need to manage the run into the playoffs with health too.

No the most important thing is going in hot on a heater. We need to make sure were playing great basketball at the right time. And last season we came in and we were cold.

I wanna go in already in playoff mindset now. This is what I said with the Dodgers we played the diamondbacks and they gave us a great run warm up in the last series of the season.

these last games we’re seeing everything we’ll see in the playoffs.

    athleticism 3-D Minnesota Houston Orlando

Young Centers who can dish the ball Jokic Sengun Denver Bam

Hall of famers Durant Jokic Edwards

young stars Edwards Banchero Thompson Smith

we’re seeing it all. And it’s a great tune up. Let’s keep it up.

Damn I’ll f*** your whole family???? That’s outa bounds. Man Luka if you lying man that’s harsh. Dudes get they teeth knocked out for s*** like that. I’d have to take the tech if that was said I get Luka. Bitzdae said he didn’t say it. Did he say f*** your family? Or did he said I’ll f***? Two different things but either way. Man George keep it to the court and Luka. George said Luka said I’ll f*** your mom first so I don’t know. Dudes been talking smack to Luka a lot and he got the off the court s*** going on. I’m glad he’s cool and doesn’t decide to go crazy on a dude and get a 20 game suspension.

    https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/48275615/lakers-appeal-nix-luka-doncic-16th-technical-foul

"I'm definitely hoping [it is rescinded]," Doncic said after the game. "Obviously, I let my team down getting that last tech. But honestly, I wasn't trying to. [Bitadze] said at the free throw, he would f--- my whole family. And at some point, this is a basketball court. At some point, I just can't stand it. I got to stand up for myself. But I know I got to do better.

"My teammates, I know they have my back, so I let them down today. But hopefully, it gets rescinded."

Zero chance it gets rescinded. Det game is a perfect opportunity to rest Bron, AR, Smart and maybe even DA. Play Bronny, Adou and Knecht.

Or maybe you play LeBron and AR against a CC-less Pistons team and try and pull out a win, then rest them against a tanking Indy and see if Luka can keep the streak alive? Probably just comes down to how LeBron feels. I’d hate for any of our guys to get injured and derail what we have going right now.
