I liked a trade for us because Harden can stay home. Always liked the Lakers.

and we don’t have to trade a bunch of pieces. Rent a player for the rest of the season for Lebron and Luka. And the moneys not guranteed.

get some scoring punch. Might as well persue something like this.

There’s only one basketball and 4 guys who need it? I just can’t see that happening.

Keep talking man, I am with you over 90% of the time. Personally, I don't know Weezy but I think he is repping the board poorly by going after you like that. Just my opinion.

impossible for harden to stay on a team longer than 3 seasons post-houston without demanding a trade lol

harden reportedly wanted 2 yrs, 80 mil from the clips and they said no. garland's getting paid similarly but is a decade younger, but injury prone and a bit overrated in my opinion. not sure why the clips make that trade unless they know they'll get some picks out of it too

I’ve been talking to a lot of people here dating back to our original forum going on 20 years now. Sometimes we argue, it’s not that serious, it’ll be fine.

Golden State having concerns Gianiss wants to be there.

Come on Gianiss. f*** it I’m tampering through back channels. So Lakers rob you saying there’s a chance????

With Golden State he has a 1-2 year window and his team ages out. I can see why there may be hesitancy.

And if he doesn't like flamboyant parades and homeless people.

I wonder if the Clips will blow it up? I somehow doubt it, but I wouldn’t mind seeing DJJ fall off the wagon and us scoop him up.

Regardless maybe a third team moves a piece we can get in on.

hmmm...so clippers prioritizing cap space two years from now over current winning? at least the early word is harden wanted an extension. that wouldn't jibe with them trading him for garland, though, so we'll see what the real issue is soon enough.

feel like any team that was chasing giannis should consider harden with fewer assets should they lose out on that chase. harden's having a great year. you deal with the contract headache in the summer if all you're giving up is expiring money.

I haven't looked at the trade machine or anything to see how remotely viable this is, but Harden to Milwaukee as one last hail mary for Giannis would be hilarious.

problem is that milwaukee only has four contracts other than giannis that are for more than 10 per:

    kuz (20)
    turner (25)
    portis (14)
    aj green (10)

they obviously wouldn't want to move turner for harden. they could move the other three, but the clips would be taking on salary past 2027 (i'd take portis off their hands, though).

Clipps are 17-4 since 12/20, Kawhi is playing great (not sustainable with injury inevitability) and they're so focused on 2027 summer that it's all about to blow up on them?

Can't they plant a tree and put a pin in it until the summer, Beard can't sign an extension until then anyway. Is Kawhi going to be cool going full tilt with a lesser co-lead? He's not exactly loyal either.

I'm not complaining, love watching them fail but don't get the timing. They've been talking to teams for a couple weeks, so Beard gives no f***s. He wants his 2/80m assurances now.

HAVE to believe they can get a better return than that. THAT would indeed be crazy.
