    Canes fan since the late 80's so it was an odd game for me. Wanted them to win too but not at the expense of our projected #1 pick. I thought Mendoza gutted it out with timely completions and being resilient. His stats would have been better if he wasn't being mugged and his receivers weren't being held. Indy's line was being blown off the line of scrimmage. That being said, we give this kid a good O-line and Jeanty blocking, it would bode well for our offense.

    Defenses are tougher but the refs are more inclined to protect the QB so it prepared him for the next level.

    I liked seeing him grind out this win. This game to me was more impressive than the Oregon game. I wanted to see how he responded to getting knocked around. His toughness spoke volumes. Getting knocked around by the lineman getting up and then running in that touchdown. That’s John Elway. He gave himself up for team. On 4th down. I like this kid. Something special about him. The Mom with MS he’s a guy who loves God. Good kid. Just the kind of kid you want leading your franchise a leader. He’s a team first guy. And last nerd I saw like this was Andrew Luck. Can’t believe he didn’t get to Stanford. But this is a franchise Quarterback.

    Draft him then draft Zacharias Branch and then just draft lineman lineman lineman lineman lineman.

    what impressed me was he went against an NFL style defensive line and looked good. Looked tough. That Miami defensive line is tough. That Miami front is tough.

    I’d tell Brady if I could you Mendoza Gronk and Bowers just spend a week together in Vegas in a lab just going over formations things you guys used and we can be looking at the next great tandem.

    look at the division now.

    The Raiders need to hire a coach.

    Minter off the board. I said they should’ve hired him. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. They always do this so they hire some old a** coach who is over the hill.

    They should just hire Davis Webb because that would be the smart thing to do.

    I'm not excited about this process now. I think we've lost some great options, including MM for OC - who's going to a division rival.

    Just wanted to make it clear that there are three rumors I'm hearing.

    Trade for Lamar Jackson? No, thanks.
    Trade Crosby? No, thanks.
    Trade for Aiyuk? No, thanks.

    Raiders can get Mendoza locked in on the cheap. A QB under salary control is a boon.
    You can't replace Crosby. He's one of five players who are really good or better on this team. You can't let him go. Two or three guys don't make up his talent level.
    Aiyuk is a headcase. The Raiders don't need that. They jettisoned Jakobi because they didn't want to pay him. I know Aiyuk is better than Meyers, but not at $30m per season.

    first of all A trade is not always a great trade. Why do you think Baltimore wants to trade Lamar Jackson for the number 1 pick? To get off his money and get on that Rookie Deal.

    they can put everything. Around him. Pay Zay Flowers. The line. And Mendozas on that rookie deal.

    the Raiders would be fools to trade Fernando Mendoza for Lamar Jackson. Yeah I said it.

    Fernando Mendoza is a franchise Quarterback. As you said on a Rookie deal. That’s too much to give up. Mendoza is great. He will win a Super Bowl. He’s accurate. He’s tall. Sees over the pocket. His ability to make all the throws. His ability to read coverage. You build a franchise around Fernando Mendoza. Fernando Mendoza leads a franchise. You know Fernando Mendoza will prepare and work hard to get better.

    it’s been well documented that Lamar Jackson doesn’t prepare. Doesn’t work hard. Misses practices. Shows up late to practices. Why do we want that leading our franchise?

    I don’t want another Geno Smith.

    What you wrote are just Click Baits from Media. Nothing more. The coach(es) we really have on our list are still on teams playing. The ones the fanbase want are either too rigid, outdated and want control rather than just be a coach.

    I think Mdaniels would be good but I think he’s locked in on the Chargers.

    I think after Carroll they are probably moving in the direction of offense.

    Davis Webb would be great.

    or Kliff Kingsbury

    We can very well hear Monday Morning Raiders hire Davis Webb as Head Coach.
